Inexpensive drifting car. Got this for my nephew for this 12th birthday. It was a hit.

I was hesitant to get this, because I didn't want a cheap or slow one. My my son has loved it. (He is a beginner) It handles well, and is very fast. It's great for a low cost product.

This RC car is fast -- best for a larger interior room or outside on a relatively smooth surface because of the low clearance between the body and the play surface. I like that it has the included rechargeable battery for the car; the controller uses standard AA batteries. There are two sets of wheels -- the "drift" wheels are just plastic with no real traction, so they spin a lot on the hard wood surface in my living room. I could swap them for the rubberized set, but then I'd have a really fast car in a small space. So this toy will go to the large synthetic turf track nearby for my child to play with there.My only real complaint on this is the car is smaller than I expected at 1:24 scale. 24 of these lined up I guess would equal a full size car -- I didn't do the math before ordering this. You can get a sense of the car size by comparing the controller and the car proportions in the photo that shows both together.Overall it is a good product and decent value for the price.

Not a good RC car for a kid at all. I am a grown man and can't get it to drift. The wheels barely turn, and obviously there is no gyro to help. It is a cheap car so I do not expect much. I left a review that was very kind, but honest about the product. The seller contacted me months after, and offered a refund. I said okay to the refund and they started harassing me asking me what I didn't like about the product. My review had all of this. I told them it wouldn't drift, it just does donuts, and the steering wheels don't turn anywhere near sharp enough to get it to drift at all. They told me I should have purchased a Drift RC. I said that is literally what your title says. They said I was wrong and there was nothing wrong with their product. They then offered me another car for free. Why would I want another one of these cars? I don't use the 2 that I have because they really are cheap trash. Now I have no refund and now I am just mad. I would have rather they just didn't contact me. I wasn't mad originally, now I am mad. I have never had this kind of an experience from and Amazon seller.

The media could not be loaded. got this as a gift for my bf and he loves it! battery lasts for about 30 minutes of consecutive use, slides super well on hardwood and great starter for rc drifting. great for price too!

Very cheap. Steering broke 2nd day. Cheap plastic. I woulda returned if I hadn’t of tried to fix it for my kid. Gear teeth were broken off so it wasn’t repairable and I voided warranty taking apart. Oh well at least it was cheap. Leaving 3 star because it’s not the sellers fault that the product quality is poor.

It was a Christmas gift. My grandson loved it.
