Beemans Black Jack Clove Sugar Free Chewing Gum - 2 20 Piece Tubes of Each Flavor - Old Time Assortment

I hadn't noticed this is sugar free. It's not sweetened with xylitol either, it's a combo of all the bad ones, yuck. So I won't be buying it again due to that. But the taste and texture are nice! It's in chiclets not strips so the old timey feel of pressing that powdery strip to your tongue is missing. But the taste is the same as ever. Nice little bit of nostalgia. The containers are sturdy too, not likely to pop open in your bag. The price is a bit steep but then what isn't these days, that's just the way it is not the seller's fault.

When I was a youngster, a fond memory of mine was checking my Dad's dresser tray (where he emptied his pocket items) to see if he had Clove gum and if there was more than one stick, I could have one. Which I actually enjoyed twice because I divided the stick in half!These flavours ring true in their nostalgic taste and are in tablet form now, sugar free and the plastic containers can be reused to store a myriad of small items.A little pricey for chewing gum, but the iconic trio is an deserved indulgence that brings back a treasure chest of memories.

I loved the old time, familiar flavors of each of these packages of gum. It was fun to enjoy each pack.

These sugar-free versions lack the burst of flavor their sugary cousins have, but they're still reminiscent of the old favorites, and they won't rot your teeth.

As a pretext, It must be said that I love the classic beemans gum! That's why I purchased this product, wanting to cut down on my sugar consumption.In fact, I hoped that it might be a good replacement.I make an effort to like all the products that I buy, and avoid any bad reviews, as I do believe that I can usually discern potentially unlikable to me leastwise before purchasing items such as these.Well, that discernment failed spectacularly this time.Disgusting aftertaste on all of the "Flavors."Strangely the Black Jack was fairly good tasting initially. Eventually turning into a rather unpleasant hard to get rid of aftertaste in few minutes. In fact, I had to wash out the taste with water.The Clove had a rather harsh aftertaste immediately. I tried to give it a go. No luck.The Beeman's also had the harshness as well.A Bad run or batch? Don't know. I just didn't like it.

Dld time favorites.. Happy to find them still available.

This was hard covered gum pieces & gum straps. Gum containers too bulky.

Nice package, on time, good old time gum (in chiclet form)
