This tape enhances the look of your toilet bowl and protects the foundation of it. Whatever material is used to secure the toilet bowl is porous and collects dust and dirt. Now an easy cleanup. I love it. I put this tape all around my kitchen sink to protect the between the countertop and the back splash. Very easy to use.

Had I known how easy this is to install I would have bought it earlier. Fits perfect, looks great and enough for two toilets.

Read the negative reviews and believe them! Unless you have the perfect floor, the perfect toilet, the perfect just about everything-this does not work. Tape is difficult to work with unless your toilet sits a very comfortable distance away from any wall that will make it difficult for you to work around. It does not go nicely (actually not at all) around the rounded "corners" and doesn't stick (we have a brand new laminate (wood) floor. I tried everything I could think of - trying to "stretch it a bit, "massaging" it, definitely starting out with a clean and dry floor and toilet base. I ended up using it flat after painstakingly measuring/remeasuring and precisely cutting its ends and will need to use a bit a regular caulk near the rounded edges of the toilet base. If it comes up (which I bet it will because its adhesion is terrible), I will just take the time and effort needed to clean the flooring , etc of sticky goop and use those smaller tubes of cauling that don't need a caulking gun. I will say though that the seller was very courteous and approached me (instead of vice versa) to address my issue.

The toilet installer levelled the toilet with shims because of the unevenness of the ceramic floor. This made his caulking job very difficult, and it did not look good at all. I discovered this product, bought it, and thought, "I can't make it look any worse than it already is." Wow! It turned out great! Very easy to use. And although in some places on the floor it appeared too wide (unavoidable, due to the variation in the level of the toilet), I merely trimmed it by lightly making a line with an Exacto knife and then going over that line one more time. The adhesive had not set yet, so I easily peeled off the excess and the result resembled a perfect caulking job. I don't know how long it will stay looking good, but it looks great right now!
