Very handy for playing videos on tv screen from phone
Works perfectly to play videos from my phone onto a tv screen. I use it to work out. Much easier than looking at my phone

Great connecting cable and conversion data from USB c to HDMI . Connected Geekom pc IT12 to very old monitor Gateway which didn’t recognize HDMI cable for some reason however when using this cable and conversion from USB c to hdmi output monitor worked fine.

Not what I wanted, but it works fine
Buying this cable has a long story with me. Originally, I needed an HDMI cable to connect my smart TV to my computer. Some of the google responses said that I could connect an HDMI cable to a USB, which I needed because my computer does not have an HDMI port. So, I bought this cable hoping to plug my smart TV to my computer that only has USB ports. None of it worked. HDMI does not work well with USB. For one thing, it is only one way. In any case, every way that I tried to connect this HDMI cable to my USB port on my computer failed. It turned out that my brand new computer, bought on Amazon, had a strange new port that almost accepted an HDMI cable. It was by accident that I saw on either YouTube or Amazon that there is another type of computer port called Display Port, or something like that. One thing led to another, and I checked my new computer port, and it had the pictured extra diagonal in design. So, I looked it up, and sure enough, it is some kind of new display port. I also found an adapter online for about $10 to hook it up to HDMI. Lo and behold, it worked perfectly. I have so many cables in storage, and this one works fine and will maybe come in handy in the future.

HORRIBLE, DO NOT BUY The connection did not hold and the screen kept going black. I had to return the cable. I guess with this one, you get what you pay for. Stay Away!

Why does the screen go black when playing movies
Not bad but when I connect to watch movies from my iPad to the tv the screen goes black randomly and turns back on a bit annoying.
