Q: At checkout they are called ladies *plus* size- what does plus mean for these ?

I am a 22-24 plus size in pants/slacks. The XXXL size is a perfect fit. They probably correlate to a size 10 in Jockey style underwear I used to buy.

Q: I refuse to buy anything made in China. Are these made in China?

I agree with the original post I too really TRY my best to buy American made products that being said it’s impossible to find everything made in the USA but kudos for the effort, more Americans need to be more choosy about where products are made.

Q: Do these create a muffin top where the grey band meets the colored section?

No muffin top.. I am short and I tell people "built like a fire plug"... With my size 10 petite short jeans (hemmed) this underwear comes to the waist and stays there no rubbing of denim waist band rubbing soft belly skin. The launder beautifully. As a matter of fact, I am planning on giving these to friends for Christmas so they can be comfortable too.

Q: These looks great, but I’m a little confused by the seam around where the c section incision would be. What is the purpose, and is it irritating?

I've had a C-Section. I don't know the location of different C-Sections but for me the 2 seams that would possibly be in question are well above & below the C-Section area. But in general the fabric & seams are soft & very comfortable.
