Easy to read and a wonderful resource
I've literally just started this book and being ND myself, I'm finding it easy to read and enjoy the relaxed approach created by the author. The majority of approaches are applicable to my crazy crew but most of all, personally, the content validates my feelings and struggles.

Excellent book
This is the book I've been looking for! Truly practical and straightforward advice from a neurodivergent adult for parents of neurodivergent children. It is such a fantastic resource. The list format is great and very accessible. It's as if it's been designed for those of us that can often only grab a book for very short periods of time. I'll be recommending this book and I really hope there will be more!! Thank you!

A must-have
I don’t usually write reviews but I have to say this book has been an absolute godsend to me: it’s basically a clear, super-practical and (most importantly) limitlessly kind, patient and non-judgemental guide and support. Having this book on hand has felt a bit like having a big sister to call on when I’m struggling to cope alone. I would recommend it to anyone who is facing the immense joys and challenges of raising a happy neurofabulous child.

Everyone can learn from this book
The author writes with great clarity, understanding, and humour based on the real experience of bringing up a neurofabulous child. She makes clear that all children are different and that not all her ideas will work with every child in every circumstance - but her observations are thought-provoking and creative . Everyone who encounters neurofabulous children will find this book an aid to enjoying and valuing their company.

A truly helpful book!
Katy’s book is a brilliant resource for parents of autistic children. Essentially it is a series of very useful checklists you can refer to in all sorts of situations. Some are more to do with day-to-day living, such as ‘Home’ and ‘Out and About’ while others deal with more serious topics like self-harm. The book is beautifully organised into clear chapter headings to make it easy to find what you are looking for. My one caveat would be to mention I feel this book will be more useful for parents of children without learning disability and those who can communicate their thoughts and needs clearly.

Invaluable tips and advice
I wish I had this 10 years ago to help us understand how we could help our son. Instead, we bumbled about doing all the wrong things, making lots of mistakes, but thankfully learning from them along the way. As a mother of a child with autism, and a step mum to two with autism, I can identify with so much of Katy's brilliantly written advice/tips/notes.
