For the price, this telescopic saw saved me no end of trouble, time, having to get ladders etc.. we have problematic pine trees at the side of the house, which the satellite dish looks in between. From time to time the occasional branch fouls the signal, this time there was 3 causing problems. We're talking 18-25 feet up. We can't get sky stream because the Internet in our street is still basic so have to rely on the dish. Having been up the ladder tweaking the dish, we managed 60% signal and strength which then fluctuated causing pixellation and loss of signal when the branches moved in the wind. Time to use the saw.... took me longer to screw the sections together than it did sawing the problem branches off. Make sure if your using most of the sections to treat it carefully as the saw will bend due to the pole length, and gently pull downwards to let the saw do the work so you don't twist or bend the saw. Definitely worth the money, and packs away into a neat carry bag. Might be a good idea to wear a hard hat as sometimes you can get caught out when the branches fall off.

Really useful tool. I’ve used it to clear branches from overhead cables at my home simple and effective. Blades are good. Poles work well. I’ve used it again and again. Al that price for that much capability it rates as an outstanding buy. I saw my local electricity board guys using one so looked on line expecting it to be expensive. It’s saved me a fortune in tree surgeon costs already.

Not useful for what I wanted but it's pretty good

This is fine if you extend to short length. It’s virtually impossible to use when fully extended as the weight is too great and no counter balance. It is also impossible to control or cut when extended more than three mitres.

I’ve just trimmed my tree with this and it is simply brilliant.: I’ve probably saved £300 by not having to pay a tree surgeon.. if I could give this product ten stars then I would with enormous gratitude.. it gets the full 5 GOLD stars
