I'm not sure which Ford spec you require. Please check your manual for the proper fluid recommendations. I sell the full synthetic 75w90 to the hub/axle manufacturer. It is used in their heavy-duty axles and differentials. The 75w140 is the same product just a different viscosity grade.

STARFIRE Full Synthetic 75W-90, 75W-140 and 80W-140 Gear Lubricants are suitable for use in the following applications: API GL-5 • API MT-1 • MIL-PRF-2105E and MIL PRF 2105D • Mack GO-J, GO-H • PG-2 limited slip differentials The 75W140, 80W140, 75W90, and 50W products all contain friction modifiers.However, I'm not sure what the requirements of the Ford M2C118-A spec are. It may require more or less friction modifiers. I would not recommend adding anything to an oil--it either meets the requirements of a certain spec or it doesn't. Adding the wrong additive that is not compatible with something else in the formula and it could cause major issues such as fallout, precipitate, or gelling.

Excellent product

I replaced the gear oil in my class 8 drive axles with this oil, I have noticed a significant reduction in temperature on highway during high outside temperatures. My axles run about 25* degrees cooler. I am impressed so far. We’ll see how the wear is after about a million miles.

Super slick and seems to hold up to abuse. I use this all the time in work truck rear axles.Shipping can be an issue just fyi. Bucket in a box. Never a perfect way to ship. 🤷‍♂️
