Oase in-line filter BioSmart 36000

I needed to upgrade my old filter as I couldn’t clean it. I’ve had a lower back fusion and am registered disabled. I couldn’t lean over and lift the filters out. This one is so easy to clean and I can get my chair, sit down and clean the filters myself. It’s made such a difference to my pond in the two weeks it’s been working. My pond it crystal clear and it’s very therapeutic seeing my fish swimming around.

I bought mine about two years ago and would highly recommend this filter. It has run night and day since then with absolutely no problem. Our pond is about 10ft x 8ft x 6ft deep so there has been one hell of a lot of water passed through the filter and the pump in that time. The pump sits on the bottom of the pond and the filter sits about 2 1/2 ft above the pond levelI think the pump has been lifted out either twice or three times in that period to clean the "crap" from the outside of it other than that no problems at all.

With a UV clarifier this filter keeps my koi pond clean and healthy. It has an easy to clean filter design and I find claening them once a month in the summer is sufficient. Well worth the money.

First box filter I've used but seems to be working nicely

Really pleased with this large, fairly basic but effective filter box. Has quickly got to grips with my perpetually cloudy water and after several weeks still crystal clear.Robustly made, I particularly like the sludge drain system of a plunger that can reduce outflow plus foam cleaning mechanism.Nice little touch of water level and temperature guages.If you have a medium sized dirty pond in full sun and breeding fish, I would invest in this. Not the ones half its size which always over estimate the size of pond they can handle.For years have battled with my own medium pond situated in full sun. Algae a perpetual problem until my lilies and water lettuce produce enough shade by early summer.Over the years, have tried numerous smaller filters and UV’s that just cannot handle my size of pond and quickly get overwhelmed particularly if I use algicides.Not keen on the 70mm return pipe, slightly difficult to connect. Much prefer flexi hose and good old tightening clips. Top tip, wet the inner seal before connecting, seems to tighten connection.Hope that helps.

No problems cleared the water in a day or so.

Looks good and once installed should perform well.No problems with delivery ect
