How many packets are included with this?

You get a bottle of Shampoo, a bottle of Conditioner and 5 packets of the hard water treatment. It's a great price and I love the smell. They sell this kit for $40 on there website. It's made my hair super soft and it's helped so much with the hard water! Good luck!

Are there supposed to be safety seals on the bottles of shampoo and conditioner? I'm wondering if my kit was a returned kit that was resold.

This happened to me too. Both the products came with NO safety seals. The shampoo leaked all over the bottle. I may have lost an inch of shampoo. Really disappointed in whomever shipped the package or the manufacturer for not having a safety seal.

Could I use this product on my 3 year old daughter? I don't plan on using the shampoo (not tear free?), but was debating using the conditioner.

Neither the shampoo, nor the conditioner, claim to be tear free, but I haven't had any in my eyes, so I don't know how much either product would sting them. If you are noticing hard water effects on your daughter's hair, I would say try the bronze hard water powder packets that come in this set. I think these are the true miracles of this product set. I would stick w/your child's regular tear free shampoo/conditioner and use only the powder packets once a week on her hair(it would probably only take a half packet for a 3 year old). If you are not seeing hard water effects on her hair skip this brand altogether and buy a separate, kid-friendly shampoo/conditioner for her.
