Q: I'm confused....does this product have a 'peachy smell'? If so I'm guessing the source is some chemical? Thanks in advance!

It does have a slight peachy smell, but it is very subtle. It is not a concern to me because I love this product, smell or no smell.

Q: can this be cleaned in the dishwasher?

Yes, absolutely. It actually brings out the peach fragrance again. The only thing you should avoid is using bleach or other harsh chemicals as it will shorten the life of your Peachy Clean Silicone Scrubber.

Q: About how long do these last?

It depends on how you use them, but if it is just everyday dish washing mine have lasted around 2-4 months. I absolutely LOVE these sponges! My friend came to visit me and used it and she went home and bought herself some. They do not get yucky and smelly like regular sponges.
