I use hot compression for my dry eyes, and I have used hot compression before and heated it at a lot higher temperature but for this product, i put it in hot water and the plastic quality was so bad that there was a weird smell. I confirmed with my eye doctor and she recommended to discontinue using this as it may cause infections.I lost my previous one which was really good - I would recommend buying from a good medical store.
