This product, primarily the indicator itself, has served me very well as a machinist. Sure, the base isn't perfect, but for almost all hobbyists and most new machinists it's going to be just fine. It has enough adjustment points to make it fit where you need it, and the fine adjustment does what it needs to. You can cinch this thing down if it gives you trouble, you can stick it to any ferrous material and it *will* stick every time, it will mount everywhere it's designed to. The base itself is exactly what it needs to be and nothing more. The indicator, on the other hand, is an excellent tool to grow on as far as I'm concerned. It does absolutely hold a thousandth, you will not need to worry about its accuracy or repeatability. The dial is easy to adjust and stays put when you want it to when you tighten the locking screw. As an added bonus, it's completely compatible with other bases - the indicator fits the Noga base I recently purchased. (Nothing against the old base, i could totally still be using it and it's still in my tool cart, I just wanted something easier to wrangle in tight spaces.) If you're looking for a base to get you by and an indicator you won't need to replace for a while, this is absolutely the product for you and I really hope you give this company a chance. I did, and I'm very glad of it.

Accusize Industrial Tools Magnetic Base, 264 lb Pull with On/Off Switch
Accusize Industrial Tools Magnetic Base, 264 lb Pull with On/Off Switch: I needed a big mag base for an extra-large machine shop indicator stand I was putting together. It is roughly the size of a Noga MA61003 Big Boy stand. I took a chance on this and it has served me well so far. The thread pitch is Metric M8 - 1.25. The only criticism is that there are few threads available to mount your device, perhaps 6 or 7, but it holds well. Just don't over-tighten. You might strip out the threads on the cast iron. The first pic is of the large indicator arm with the clamp base that it came with. I removed the clamp base, and added the mag base. Luckily, it also had an M8 - 1.25 threaded screw. The second pic is of the completed stand with the mag base attached.

Works well for The average car guy.
. This is not professional grade. And it is priced properly for the average Car guy working at home. It works well enough for the non-professional. The 110 pound rating. I have no idea how they come up with that but no it does not hold up to 110 pounds. Who cares?

It works…
It says 200+ breaking away so I kinda expected it. Even tho I knew that it was a on the cheaper side I hoped for a “diamond in the rough”. It’s not a bad buy and it does work and holds pretty well but don’t be like me and expect too much.

Accusize Tools Dial Indicator Magnetic Base 220 LBF
I first bough one of the magnetic bases with a lower pull off value and it was totally unsatisfactory. I was using it to measure the end play between the front disc brake hub and the spindle on my 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This is not a North American car but a German market car, so it came with front disc brakes from the factory. Adjusting the end play is the way to set the bearing free play. The magnetic base was placed on the disc or the circular hub. I needed a much stronger magnetic base and this did the trick. So learn from my experience and purchase the stronger magnetic base. There will be times when you will need it. I don't know why the lower strength bases are made because when I tried to use it, it simply fell off the disc surface. I did ended up using the rods that came with it.

J'ai acheté cet aimant pour remplacer celui de ma base magnétique Noga. Il est la mortier du prix par rapport à la marque Noga que j'avais. Même puissance également et belle finition. Je recommande.
