Really nice product

My 8 year old niece loved making her dolls clothes with these. This is great for any child who is creative and loves to make clothes/crafting! Great assortment and value for money.

I got this for a 6 year old, which is certainly on the lower end of the age range for this, but figured that we'd be able to handle it between us. While I'm no seamstress, I do know my way around a needle and thread, and I know how to follow patterns, so I figured it wouldn't be a problem.I was incorrectThe instructions provided were laughable. They spent several pages on colour theory and how to do certain stitches, with no real information on how to get started. No tips and tricks, no troubleshooting. There was a template sheet, which had no markings to indicate what part of an outfit they were for, and we generally had a very frustrating time trying to figure the whole thing out. We opted to use the velcro strips, and I'm glad we did, as I have no idea how we would have gotten the dress off the mannequin if I had stitched it all closed. Very disappointed overall.I think some of the reviews on this item must be from a previous version of the product, as the instruction booklets look quite different, so be warned
