Long life
I have been using the bulbs as a heat source for out door insulated cat houses. I installed one in each house and have run them around the clock for about two months in the cold as low as -15 degrees. They work very well , I have not had to replace one yet ! A standard incandescent bulb at best lasted only a month. I bought the 39 & 60 watt bulbs and I am quite happy with them and performance of the bulbs . Heat for the cats and no fire risk .

Not as bright as bulbs they’re replacing.
They all work so far, and I’m glad I have extras now since I guess they’re almost obsolete and I’ve got no intention of replacing my stove hood. But they’re definitely not as bright as the bulbs they replaced. I could clearly see the difference when I had one of these and one of the older ones in.

Pretty good Halogen bulbs. I've seen slightly better.
Don't get me wrong; they're worth buying. I've just seen Halogen last a little bit longer. They're still good though. Expect a few months of continuous shine. Keep lighting the way my friends.
