I looked at a lot of coffee makers and read a lot of reviews but I plumped for this cheaper one because of the positive reviews and it's good looks and compact design. It really is so simple to use, fill the tank with water, put your scoops of coffee grounds in the filter, close the lid and press the start button. I actually place a paper filter in the filter holder, merely because it is easier to remove the used coffee grounds for cleaning. 10 minutes later, you have a lovely tasting cup of proper coffee. The manual says the hot plate keeps the coffee hot for 40 minutes. I struggled to find any percolator that kept the coffee hot for more than 30 minutes, this one was the exception. Not much longer, I know but it's still good. Highly recommended.

I do not usually leave reviews unless the news is very good OR very bad. The main reason for leaving a review is the customer service. After owning my coffee maker for approximately 6 months I broke the glass jug. My fault!! I contacted the seller to ask if they had a replacement glass jug they could sell me and they despatched one free of charge a few days later. The functionality of the coffee maker is as good as any coffee maker we have purchased around this price point. It makes the coffee within a few minutes and is piping hot.

Great little machine

Dreadful product. Even in the height of summer with my kitchen room temperature at 28c it doesn’t brew the coffee warm enough to drink black ! I need the microwave. The on/off button is so firm the it takes 2 hands to turn it on and off - one for the button and one to hold the machine still. Most importantly and dangerously the glass jug is of such poor quality it broke in my hand while lifting it by the handle after only 6 months of use. Dangerous and unfit for purpose. I know it’s only cheap but my Tesco machine most recently used lasted for 5+ years and cost the same price.

Poor quality. The jug cracked on the hot plate after a month. However the seller did provide a replacement jug when contacted.

Purchased this after reading many reviews of other (more expensive) coffee machines, which often give you tepid coffee - at best!!!. This is a great little item which does not take up too much worktop space, is easy to use and produces perfect temperature coffee. Love it!!!! Great value for money.
