it's a "wall wart" does not match picture.
I was specifically looking for a power supply that wasn't a wall wart since the 16 volt units are very fat and take up too much space on an extension cord. I bought this unit because the picture in the listing shows the transformer in-line with the power cord away from the receptacle which is exactly what I was looking for. Very disappointed when it showed up, the item in the picture is NOT what I received. See my picture, it's the same as what I already have. So it was a time waster, shopping the many transformers, finally selecting one, waiting for it to be delivered, and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and starting over. People lead busy lives and this false advertising wasted a lot of my time. Buyer beware.

Ignore the first 2 pictures in the advertisement - i received the item in picture 3
The only reason I purchased this item from other similar items is that the main picture showed a power supply with a cable to the outlet rather than a "wall wart" style. I got the wall wart (you see it in the 3rd and 4th pictures actually) which doesn't fit in my already crowded power outlet board. Seller should remove the main picture and second picture which are misleading.

Geat replacement for Presonus BlueTube ( oiginal version )
Item was not the one pictured but actually larger and more robust. Powered my Presonus Bluetube perfectly.

Not what is pictured
The adapter works for the original BlueTUBE as indicated in the description, but it is not the product that is pictures. The transformer is humongous for this thing, at least 50% larger than the one pictured. The description also indicates that it is a 1A power supply, when in reality it is a 1.5A. That doesn't really matter since it'll just draw the 1A for the BlueTUBE, but it again differs from the description. Barrel plug fits well and it does what it's supposed to. Knocking a star for inaccurate description and erroneous power supply stats.

16v. Not 18 like implied.
It’s a 16v power supply, the presonus V1 is 18v. Not 16-18v as described. So if you want the best headroom on a mic preamp find a true 18v, this 16v adapter will lower the headroom a bit. Other than that it does work.
