Soladey3 Ionic Toothbrush, Solar Panels and TiO2 Semiconductor, 3 Row Honeycomb Bristle Blue, You can Brush Without Toothpaste

This was my first foray into Ionic toothbrushes, and I must say I'm impressed. I really like the way this toothbrush cleans my teeth. Right away I felt the same smooth feeling you get from using an electric toothbrush, but without the hassle. You do have to hold it so you don't put your fingers over the solar cell when brushing and you have to use it in bright natural or artificial light, but that's not much of an issue. The only downside is that the toothbrush has a rather small head and it takes longer to brush your teeth with it. The brush comes with one style head but you can purchase other types, just like you would with an electric toothbrush, so you don't just toss it out after a month or two. Worth a try. Maybe they will make some with larger heads, since they already offer a line of different shaped heads, including charcoal heads, for different cleaning needs.

This toothbrush is a miracle.Here is my 3 month review: I have hereditary issues with bad tartar build up, receding gums and pockets. I started the Soladey-3, using soft bristle heads I purchased separately the day of my last dental cleaning. I just returned from my first cleaning since. The results were impressive. Pockets in my back gums went from a 5 to a 4. The only tartar was in my hard to clean un-straightened lower front teeth. And, here is the really cool part – I forgot I had purchased a solar product. I've been using this thing like a regular toothbrush with plenty of foam. I've got a small hand, but it sure didn't seem like it was hard to keep charged. I'm totally satisfied.More than satisfied - this thing is amazing. Here is the 6 month update:Just went back to see the dentist this time. My gum pockets are now almost all down to three (I have a couple of fours left - no fives), and both the dentist and the dental hygienist remarked that there was almost no build-up. I used the toothbrush the first three months without toothpaste. I wasn't sure of the long term effects of dropping the fluoride and other benefits of the toothpaste, however, so I added it back for the second three months of the trial. The brush definitely works with toothpaste. Both ways appear to be equally effective in removing build-up. And, with six months of both my husband and I using the same base, the solar battery is still going strong.I don't know what more I can say. I've always been diligent about my gums. I was brushing, flossing, and using mouth wash twice a day before. My pockets went from fours and fives to threes. The only difference was the toothbrush. I used it for six months now, and it has made a big difference. Wish every product I discovered was this good.

The length of this toothbrush is way too short. It is difficult not to find your hand blocking the solar panel at the bottom of the brush. So feel not getting maximum results from the brush. My teeth however do look a whiter and my gums are better.

Though I think I would have preferred the newest version of this toothbrush, the one I did purchase here goes beyond my expectations! After using a Sonicare for the past 8 years it takes some getting used to with a manual toothbrush but this technology is amazing! Within the first few days the difference in the look and feel of your teeth will just blow you away.I will never use any other type of toothbrush again! And I make my own toothpaste with coconut oil, baking soda and a little peppermint oil or with added Bentonite clay and it takes very little. Can also be used without any toothpaste at all!

I have used ionic toothbrushes for years and they do a better job at keeping plaque buildup away than sonic brushes do. That said, sonic seems to do better for the gums, so I have to floss more with ionic but prefer the results more than sonic.

My experience of this product is better than $150 electric toothbrushes. It cleans better and faster than any expensive brushes I used. My teeth and gums stay clean longer.

Product arrived - obviously a repackaged, recycled return. One strike.Second strike: No way to tell if the product works to begin with - no indicator light (like Dr. Tung's no longer available battery powered Ionic toothbrush, which I knew worked both from the indicator light in the short term and from my dentists reports over the years in the long term) which to make sure the circuitry works.Third strike: And even if the product does works to begin with, no way to know when the product fails to work either, until you go to the dentist. Until then, the placebo effect seems the only effect you can count on, and even then only if you believe in this product. Which at this point, I don't.

This product is great. My teeth never felt so clean and my gums feel so good. I highly recommend this product. Give it a try!

Love this toothbrush. So happy I finally purchased another one after many years. So worth it.

Used this brush with a battery for years and had great dental cleaning experiences. I couldn’t get a replacement brush so I started using a electric sonic brush. My next cleaning the hygienist asked what I was doing different? She said my teeth had a lot more plaque this time. I came home and ordered another of these brushes. So convincing!

Not much else yet. I just like it.

Absolute scam. Most of the research online that suggests this brush works is from non descript universities in rural India. Don't buy. Buy a simple digital tooth brush from Oral B for INR 1000. Works much better. In addition bristles were incredibly hard - destroyed my gums.
