Honest review:I just installed these new headlights on my 2005 Tacoma and instantly the visual age of my truck dropped 10 years. These lights, for the cheap price tag, feel sturdy (slightly less so than OEM but again they are cheap) and look amazing.Installation was a breeze with a few small issues, none of which are the headlight’s fault. I did see a reviewers comment about not getting instructions. I agree, no instructions given, BUT, look up YouTube videos and it will give you step by step. The 4th bolt to remove the old headlights is inside of the fender which is fairly hard to get to. Other than that, super easy insulation.Below, I added photos of what brand of splice wire terminals I purchased (off of Amazon) and how I wired the lights for them to work. Green is positive, white with black stripe is negative. Took 60 seconds each headlight to get the projector lights up and running. I tied them into my corner lights. I am not a professional automobile electrician, so yours may be different but I wanted to post what I did with photos in hopes it’ll help you all.Everything was plug and play besides the DRL tube lights. You’ll just need to wire them up however you’d like (check photos below). All of the harnesses fit perfectly. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR GASKETS. I saw “moisture level” as a negative for these. If you look at my photo, there is nothing inside the light. But then again, I also made sure my gaskets and harnesses were securely placed.All in all, great lights for the price tag. I highly recommend.

Both headlights had a horrific light pattern with dark shadows and voids and no matter what, they could not be properly adjusted to aim them to oem specifications. Turns out they were both defected rebuilds and their internal reflector that is in front of the bulbs and bounces the buulbs lioghting to the giant reflector (to visualize what I am saying, think about how a telescope or radar dish has a reflector plate) well, both of the smaller reflectors were cockeyed. They were not aligned to reflect the bulbs light forward, and though I did my best to align how those internal smaller reflectors aligned with the bulbs, there was black voids in the pattern in front of me, where the headlights did not get light. Was a distorted effect when driving. They are a waste of money and simply worthless. The vehicle was in a bodyshop for a lot longer then expected, for its total restoration, and by the time these headlights could be installed to learn of the defects, it was well past any chance of returning them. Stay away from these. I went with Spyder headlights with the Halo Rings and accent LEDs and they are by far a significantly much better product. Actually, the Spyder headlights are incredible! I suggest you try them, with confidence.

Good quality. Didn’t even have to split them and glue the edges. Highly recommend for price point

I’m in the process of LED modernizing my 05 Tacoma and changing out complete lighting assemblies, ie.: Taillights, Fog Lights, Headlights; and converting them to LED. Removing all of the Halogen/bulb type lights. I must say this has been quite the learning process and the searching & reading the majority of comments from previous customers is mind boggling but this has helped. I also read the sellers comments regarding support and validated them by reviewing the sellers site and how well they have put the time in to make it Intelligently pleasing and or correct with the technological info regarding what they are selling. Most, I must say, weren’t giving enough product info to make an educated conclusion regarding if I should trust buying their products from them.I will say tho if I have given them a 5-STAR Rating then for the most part I would guarantee that your efforts will be positive ones….mine have..!! This company in my opinion has made a quality replacement upgrade to the LED world regarding Automobile Headlamps that will comfort knowing you will be “Seen” and that you will “See”….especially at night.I give my many thanks to this company for my success in the process of modernizing my 2005 Tacoma to LED technology.thank You,Greg
