Nickel Anode Pure Bar 99.6% Nickel Rods, Diameter 0.32 in, Length 7.87 in, for Experiment Electroplating Solution

Ordered two of these to use as anode and cathode to simplify making nickel electroplating solution, after which both will just be used as anodes. They are decently thick at roughly 8mm diameter, and being a solid rod I assume they will survive better than strips. At present they are the cheapest nickel rod on Amazon, but ymmv.

After two unsuccessful purchases of alleged “pure” nickel metals for experimental home plating-which resulted in yucky worthless mess….took this one to my scrap metals purchaser of silver,gold,etc- they put this rod under the “analyzer” and SUCCESS at last! 99.8% pure nickel! Hoorah!

Exactly as described. Used as a shower extension that worked out perfect. Cheaper and more sturdy DIY.

Perfect for plating

I purchased these for electroplating use and so far, so good. They seem to be good quality and were definitely worth the money.

If you're into plating this is a great nickel rod to use as a sacrificial anode/cathode. Sorry having cocktails and at this time I'm not sure which is correct. :)
