The fountain is great! The lights reach the bottom of the (very) deep end of my pool with no issues. It runs and charges in the sunlight, so don't get confused like I did. Also, there's a few hours where it doesn't run automatically, that's if you have a high fence that hides the sun like I do, but once the sky is dark, it turns back on. You can still press the power button and turn it on manually if you'd like. I did have a little trouble with my first one, but the customer service from this company was great and hassle-free. Since I've gotten it, I've had no issues and the company even reached out to be sure I had what I needed.Definitely 5 stars!

Apenas me duró 3 semanas en la Piscina. Alumbra muy lindo pero no está completamente Sellado y se le va entrando el agua. Si lo dejas fuera del agua el cristal se poner color opaco por los químicos así q tampoco es bueno desarmarlo para q no se acabe de dañar el sello. Realmente no me gustó.

Not a fan. Worked ok but in the pool it was too small to help. If it floated to the shade or out of sun it doesn’t work. Strangely even though it is solar powered it looks better in the dark!

Just got it today was impressed how it activated as soon in the water.... I will see what the night beholds because my friend loved it initially so much that I ordered another today (she has a big pool). If it does not work as prescribed, a return is in order. Will let yall know how it goes....As soon as it hits shade, it SHUTS OFF. Not looking good. I was hoping it kept charging with low sunlight. Wished this was USB charging.UPDATE: It works as specified. Just takes some patience depends on your weather conditions. I fully charged both in sunlight, no pool. If it is dusk, it won't work (no problem) but when night comes, OMG its a LIGHT SHOW with fountains.Earlier, I sent a dissenting email to the manufacturer... I am sending an apology note. So keep in mind, CHARGE your unit out of the water and keep it in DIRECT sunlight. Next, make sure you got your anchor done the right way for your pool. I plan on getting a 200g fishing weight to keep my units anchored. I will update a video in a bit (the Olympics are on). I am really hoping giving it a full charge will let my units live until first light. I have upgraded my rating from 2 stars to 5 because it does the job damn good and the light show is prettty badass.

This fountain is fun, however only runs during the day if the sun is shinning on it. At night doesn’t run very long.

I placed in the sun to charge today. This afternoon I placed in the pool and the fountain started right away. I was impressed by the water height and flow. An hour later there was nothing. I can turn the lights on, but as soon as I place it in water, lights shut off. I still need to contact seller about a replacement. I’ll update my review if all goes well.Edit: Quickly received a replacement. While letting the replacement charge next to the pool, I decided to give the original another try, just for grins. The fountain worked. The lights came on after dark. It ran for 5 or 6 hours, not sure as I was asleep and did not keep on eye on it all night. Since I had the replacement charged the next night, I placed it in the pool and it woks as well. The single fountain dropped pool temp by 2 degrees. I really want something more efficient. I also do not like that you cannot turn off the lights and just run fountain at night. I bought it for the fountain, not the lights. I’d prefer the battery be used to power the fountain longer.You really need to used the anchor to keep unit from going into the skimmer. I thought mine had disappeared, then realized it got caught in the skimmer. But using the anchor means I must remove from pool before I use our Polaris pool cleaner. We usually leave the Polaris in the pool to run automatically every day and pull out when we have people over. I don’t really want to have to do that every day. So I guess this product is not for me and does not meet my needs. Not sure there is a product out there (yet) that does.

Don’t buy ! Inky works if sun shines and the upward spray is tiny

With some of the reviews out there, I don’t think I would’ve purchased this, but I am so so glad I did what started out as letting it hit the sun outside of the water. We put it in the water sun, and it made all the difference and started spewing water from the top, there is a little weight that connects to two little strings on each side of this that allows it to stay in one place pool like ours with shade. It is efficient enough to move into the sun to keep grabbing the solar light for charge. what is hidden plot twist is when it gets to evening dusk , out of nowhere, the fountain will turn back on again. This fountain is equipped with the lights on the bottom and spouts adequate to enjoy it while it doing the work. I would characterize the fountain water noise as a tinkle but it definitely adds a factor to anyone’s pool even with the filter system noise nearby.
