Q: Does this come with the tabs? And is this used for securing the back onto picture frames and shadow boxes?

I was very anti on this way of securing the back until I needed to do because of an antique frame. I won't use anything else from now on.

I usually order them online. Amazon has them. The specifics for ordering come with it. Be sure you get the right size.

Q: does this come with rigid or flexible points?

They seem to be more rigid then flexible

Q: How big is the topl itself? I want to use on 5" x 7" frames.

It works well on 5 x 7 and up to much larger frames. I really am glad that I bought it. I hope you have success with it too if you do.
