Absolutely LOVE the airpots! Great pot, great price and pretty good quality! I have a few of the pots have holes in them that aren't supposed to be there, but isn't really a big deal.

Great concept, but mediocre execution. Switching from fabric grow bags, I wanted something that looked nicer and wouldn't get nasty fungus stains. I'm using these mainly to sell production-focused vegetable plants in. Air pruning is a great way to increase health and yield. Unfortunately these are a bit crude in regards to quality. First, they include gloves so you don't cut yourself on the corners of the plastic panels used to make the outside of the pot. Maybe a quick 45° cut on the corners would decrease the risk? I ended up trimming most of the corners myself so my customers wouldn't get cut. Second, the bottom panel's screen has holes that are way too big - about the size of my pinky nail. I did a quick test to see if my potting mix fell through when the plant was watered in and ready to go, and it did. I fixed this by cutting a round piece of landscape fabric and placing the circles in the bottom of the pots. They work, but it's a PITA to cut landscape fabric into exact circles without some sort of guide (I made mine out of the cardboard box it came in).All that said, I'm still giving 4 stars. You can't really beat the value of these and once I fix them up they are working great. It's still too early to talk about durability and longevity, but I'm hopeful they'll hold up for a couple growing seasons at least.

This review will initially only be about the setup of the pots, which is extremely simple. It is currently the end of December, so I’ll need to wait before I can review other aspects of these pots.My primary use of these 1 gallon air pruning pots is for a temporary indoor start for my peppers and tomatoes. I have some 5 gallon pots that I plan on testing with fruit trees prior to planting them in their final home in our orchard. I do not plan to leave anything in them long term, but if I do, it will be updated in the review.SETUP: Very simple. Keep two rows without holes as the top, placing the bottom piece in between the last two rows from the top. I only used 2 screws per side and 4 screws total per pot, 3rd row and 5th row(bottom). I received enough screws for 3 screws per side, but two hold well enough. One screw hole was over punched out of 40 that I used, leaving that spot loose. Plastic feels solid but flexible, and I did not have to strain to get the second sides together. Took me 20-30 minutes to assemble all 10. You don’t need the ropes for the 1 gallon pots, unless you wanted to hang them. I may put them on my 5 gallons instead.I honestly can’t wait to test these for root starters.

Great Quality product, made for a super easy transplant. Will definitely buy again!
