I liked that it's construction should cool and protect pi and not fear fans failing as I dealt with in pcs. The expansion port access if you have ribbon cable. Case does not have pins open for a caper/sheild/plug in board. I'm OK for now.It provided several thermal pads to transfer heat to case fins. It's my rugged pi 5 enclosure.

If you don't know already the Raspberry Pi 5 runs a lot hotter then the older 3 and 4's. Where with a 3 a heatsink was "Extra precaution" and the 4 running a heatsink was recommended it is an absolute requirement with the 5.The best cooling will always come from active cooling (Fan equipped cases) however the PI is tiny and so are the cases leaving you with 5mm or 8mm fans that run fast and loud. Personally I always go for a passive option when possible and I'm so glad to have picked up this case as I can run the PI silently now.The quality is good, it's all aluminum which allows for greater heat dissipation but more importantly protects your valuable device, the construction is well made and there are conductive spots in all the right places to make contact between your PI and the case. The included thermal pads are decent but I myself like to go with the higher conductive pads that I frequently use on GPU's just for a little extra cooling.

The case is passive case design, to keep your Pi running without excess heat.The case has aluminum on the top and the bottom and your Raspberry Pi 5 is in the middle with included thermal pads.A great solution for covering and protecting your Raspberry Pi as well!

Nice case. Good quality. I'm not a Raspi 5B gear head overlooking, etc. But for my general daily use, it does the job well. I like the ability to see the power led and power button Pass through the led status colors.

This is a great little case for a raspberry pi board and it looks cool.A minor flaw on the side but no issue at all with function.The included thermal pads are great and do work well. The venting and airflow make this as good a passive case as you can get.As this is a passive cooling case your use case would need to exclude heavier use as any excessive heating of the chipset won't be able to keep up with being only passively cooled but YMMV.As a lower intensity device this case is really great and I recommend it highly.
