It was war. The pigeons were creating a bloody mess daily. The spikes seen durable and decently made, and I've seen the difference in 5 days. I secured them with duct tape but it's loosening, so, ordered zip ties because I can't use nails/screws, that was my learning. The bloody things are still landing on the balcony floor and making a mess but far less, they are staying away from the spikes, so win there. Value for money because net was getting very expensive. Be careful if you have young ones, these spikes are quite sharp. I'm ordering more now.

I had two pigeons in my balcony who loved to poop in my balcony everyday.. one day I gave them a new accessory and I destroyed their poop making barrels..

Material of the spikes is transparent plastic which is hard enough and pointed to discourage the birds to land on it. It still flexes sufficiently that helps in easy application. Few spikes in bunch of ten strips were bent at the tip which is ignorable. Double sided tape sticks well on it.
