The author tackles one of the most challenging aspects of modern parenting
In "Parenting Children with ADHD + Workbook 2-in-1," the author tackles one of the most challenging aspects of modern parenting: raising children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This book promises to be a comprehensive guide, offering strategies to manage explosive behaviors, handle random meltdowns, and improve communication between parents and their children. While the title suggests a dual approach—combining practical advice with interactive exercises—the execution of this ambitious goal is somewhat mixed. The book’s greatest asset lies in its practical, hands-on approach. The author clearly understands the day-to-day challenges faced by parents of children with ADHD and offers a variety of strategies that can be immediately implemented. From techniques to de-escalate situations to tips on how to create a more structured and supportive environment, the advice is accessible and, for the most part, actionable. The inclusion of a workbook is a thoughtful addition, providing parents with space to reflect on their own experiences and apply the strategies discussed.

So informative!
This is a very easy to read and understand book, highlights lots of traits of ADHD and great tips on how to manage them. I would recommend this book not just for those who have been diagnosed with ADHD but for kids that show some of the traits, you recognise and realise how you act and react to situations affects your child and has positive or negative impact. ADHD children are not naughty - their behaviour can be naughty - there is a difference - and how you explain that to your child has a huge impact on their self esteem.
