when i got this the part to put in the camera was broken and i was able to get another one the return ws easy and received the new item in a fast manner.it was easy to install and set up.great quality

Every other week, the camera stops recording and asks to replace the memory card. While it's fixable, it's also unacceptable as it can happen while the car is moving. This defeats the purpose of having it.Sometimes, the best thing is not to have extra useless features like a voice assistant that can’t be disabled and are never needed. If I set the option to stop voice recording, it means I want it to stay that way, but it can be reenabled by sound outside of the car.A few annoying bugs away from being a good product.

They’re may be better dashcams on the market, but this is decent and is great for practical use.

I have tried so many dash cams and I could say this one was the worst one when it comes to night vision.

I paid more for the Philips brand name because there are so many different and cheap options on Amazon for dash cameras. However, after having used this dashcam for a couple months now, I am a little bit disappointed on the software for this dashcam. For example, the "Yes" and "No" options when formatting a SD card were reversed with the buttons, so I was having trouble trying to format the card initially. Also the dashcam decides when it wants to turn on. I could have the dashcam plugged in and on, start driving, and won't hear the audio of it turning on until a couple minutes later. And it would say things at random occurrences like "recording has stopped" or "a photo was taken" and "video evidence locked" like what are you doing??? I have tried to mute all of those things in the settings on the app, but I think it resets itself every time it turns off. Oh yea, you will also need the app, which has some misspellings which is disappointing. But it does record, and it is handy to check on the app to see the videos. I have not had any problems with videos being corrupted or lost. I think it just needs a software update for both the app and the camera and those silly problems would go away. But who knows if that will happen.Installing the camera was easy and the range of adjustability is nice. I used the app to view the camera angle while installing to help get the best viewing angle. So overall it does the job, but I am disappointed with Philip's execution with the software.

I love how clear and easy it is to watch footage from the dashcam on my phone in case of emergencies. The night vision is also very good compared to other dashcam.
