Even though the cardboard box it arrived in was crushed, the Amazon driver hurled it on my porch, and it was 18 degrees out, this little ponytail plant persevered! It looks great - it’s healthy and it’s a generous size. The included white pot is plastic, not ceramic, but you can barely tell. I’m so enamored of my ponytail plant that I’ve been waking up every morning and wishing it good morning like it’s a pet! Highly recommend this plant for cuteness factor alone! Worth every penny.

I’ve ordered several plants from Costa Farms & they’re all amazing & healthy . Buying pot & plant is the only way to go - value for a low price ! I ordered Thursday & received Saturday - Packaged to keep plant in perfect condition - came with moist soil & warm pack. I’ve gifted family & friends - they’re very impressed !

The plant arrived in a sturdy box and was packaged as well as possible for a live plant. The plant arrived healthy, vibrant, and undamaged. It exceeded my expectations in both quality and size, especially considering the price. Overall, an excellent value and a great purchase.

This palm arrived in pretty bad shape. The box was pretty flimsy. It had been crushed to the point of being opened. Someone along the way taped it back together, but there were leaves sticking out from the sides and top and caught in the tape. It looks like it would have been a beautiful plant had it not been that most of the leaves were broken off or crushed. I have bought many plants from Costa Farms and they have aways, in the past, arrived in good shape. I’m so disappointed. This plant should have been double boxed at the very minimum. I’m not going to return it because it has been through enough stress already. I will see if I can save it with a lot of TLC and time, but I don’t know, I’m not a miracle worker. :-( 12/22/25 UPDATE: There was no saving it. It was rotten at the trunk. All of the leaves fell off and when I took it out of the pot the bottom of the trunk was stinky, fishy smelling mush. I’m going to have to return this pile of stink to get my money back. Costa Farms will only help you if you bought it directly from them. Guess I’m done with them. What a pain in my tookass!!

I’m still stunned. I can’t believe how beautiful this plant is and that it came in the mail. I lost my first beaucarnia that I had for over 30 years, when I moved. Since it’s a lifetime commitment I hesitated to get another one. I’m very glad that I did. I feel like I was sent a very special new friend. The ponytail palm came expertly packed and arrived safely despite winter temperatures. It came in a decorative pot, which really makes the price worth it. These plants get quite large, so be prepared. Unlike my last one, this one has been topped and has three separate branches so I imagine it’s going to grow quite differently. I recommend the seller and this beaucarnia.

Don’t think twice about purchasing this beautiful plant! It arrived in perfect condition and the pot that comes with it is a very nice addition. Looks exactly like the picture! I’m very happy with this purchase!

Very pretty plant, but shipment wasn’t great. Shipping box was smashed and leaves were sticking out and one leaf was taped to the box with the shipping tape. I thought of only giving three stars, but the plant itself is very nice! See my pics…

For my fellow plant hoarders this is a perfect online live plant buy! I was Leary, I mean hello live plant, packaged, shipped via USPS yeah had low hopes on the condition it would arrive in. However, it came in geat condition. The packaging was perfect and she’s alive and healthy.
