Love the Hot and Cold Water Option
When the AWG arrived, I didn't have a permanent location, as I had been remodeling my home. I temporarily put it between two cabinets on the floor. This caused little air flow, and no water was collected. This was a valuable lesson in that the AWG needs to be in an open room area to generate water. Once I moved it to another location, water collection began. One of the reasons why I purchased this one instead of another brand is that it has a hot and cold option. Most AWGs on the market do not have a hot and cold option. In two days, with a 3/4 tank full, I collected 2 gallons of water. The temperature was 86 degrees Fahrenheit, and the humidity was 34 to 40 percent. In addition to having rain barrels, instead of using them for drinking water, I plan on using the collected water for outdoor plants when the temperatures rise and water restrictions go into effect.
