The best coop out there right now!
The only negative thing about this coop is the instructions are a little unclear. But it’s pretty straightforward and easy to figure out. Everything else about this coop is amazing. It’s made out of very durable thick plastic pieces and once put together it’s very sturdy. The chickens love it. The roof comes off really easily so that you can clean out the nesting boxes and the coop. It’s even easy to take out and clean the roosting posts. My chickens like to walk underneath it when it’s hot out and be under the shade. I think the coop is also VERY safe. I don’t worry about predators getting in it because the way the pieces fit together it’s sealed very tightly all the way around. We are very happy with this purchase!! I feel like it’s going to last forever.

Great value
I bought this, spending roughly twice what other similiar coops cost, because it was plastic and well designed. Every review of other, less expensive coops talks about broken parts, jury-rigging assembly and generally thin construction. This coop delivers on design and is sturdy once assembled. However, the main back piece had slots and holes that were undersized, so what should have been a quick & easy snap together assembly turned into a much longer process involving files, drills, and sanding tabs to fit into undersized slots. Pretty frustrating at this price point, though once assembled, I am happy with the end result.

Very impressed
I am new to chickens. I ordered this based on reviews from other customers. It was very easy to put together. Clear instructions. And has already been through to rain showers with no leaks. Very weatherproof very durable.

Do your research on the warranty
The coop is actually not the problem the trays could be sturdier, the motor for the door is the problem and then when you contact the company they ask you to take pictures and send them after you have wound it. And then again and again. My buttons actually are working in reverse so down go up and up goes down the door will not go up on its own and will not close on its own winter is quickly approaching and I have been going back and fourth with the company for over a year at this point. Luckily I added a run over my nestera so I added a coop to the side of my run but for the money I paid for my large nestera coop and expected that the 25 year warranty was in place I didn’t think I would encounter such issues. Had I broke the door components or something of this nature sure fine, but when the motor is not functioning correctly that should be warranty covered. But if you actually try to find the specifics of what is covered in the warranty do you as well not find it suspicious that there is no information on any of this? Didn’t even think about this until an issue arose and now there is nothing to be found… and I can’t even send in a video to the company because they don’t allow any. So I can’t even demonstrate how the buttons work in reverse or everte I wind the string it goes until it’s completely unwound and then winds the opposite direction as well… and every time I try explaining this they tell me to send in the exact same pictures again so I’ve tried several times and get the same thing back. But why if I have a warranty should it be my responsibility to replace defective motor that should be covered when all I did was put in batteries follow the utibe video to set it up and continue replacing batteries. If your considering do more research.

Maybe this works in England
The plastic isn’t particularly “strong”. I don’t expect it would do well with sub-freezing, snowy environments such as we have. I don’t think is it particularly well suited to hot weather either as we were in the upper 80s and the plastic seemed overly pliable. My chickens are more interested i hiding behind it rather than in it. The door just needs a sharp edge to make a great guillotine. I’d worry that my chickens might be hurt if the string breaks. I like the concept, but improved is needed. It does not support deep bedding. Hopefully I can adapt it to make it work inside a run.

2 year review - Still love our coop!
We’re now over 2 years into using our Nestera coop and we’ve been really pleased. We live in a place that gets well below 0°F in winter and over 100°F in summer, and our chickens are doing great. We added a thin panel heater (Cozy Coop) this winter and had no frostbite even at close to -30°F. Two years in, and the plastic is like new. I've been super happy with the durability. It's super easy to clean, and I take the nest box off to dump it out. It took about two hours to assemble with my five-year-old “helping”. We bought the large raised coop and the wheels. If you plan on moving it around either buying the wheels or fabricating some will be necessary (I really like the Nestera wheels, they’re more durable than I had envisioned). Lastly, we needed to deal with customer service over a part that I damaged and they were great! Prompt service and they helped me find a solution.
