Honestly I had never heard of cleaning seat belts. But wife got a new (used) car and the previous owner was either a pig or ate a lot of french fries before buckling up. Subscribing to the theory "if the wife ain't happy, no-one's happy," I watched You Tubes and discovered such a product existed. While I used a fancy Chemical Guys interior cleaner, it wouldn't have worked as well without this thingie. Only complaint is that the package came with TWO. What the hell am I going to do with TWO. I may gift it to my son, who is just as persnickety as my wife!

Actually bought these to clean knives and other sharp kitchen utensils as I saw these same designed products being sold for such use but intend to use them on seat belts if ever needed. The bristles are stiff but not too stiff and clean well. The price was excellent for a two pack. I can keep one just for the kitchen and one for automotive use if and when needed. I would recommend.

I like kitchen stuff that can go through the dishwasher. I know that doing that makes my sharp knives blunt quicker. So, I have come to really enjoy using this gadget to clean my sharp knives. I believe the sturdy bristles may take the shine off a polished piece of silverware, however for you hard working sharp knives (and to avoid putting them in the dishwasher) this is a very quick clean up tool.

Works well with some cleaner to get rid of the grime that happens in my 20+ year old cars a long with the kid car that gets who knows what spilled on it
