"Roku Smart Doorbell: Crystal-Clear, Weatherproof, and Alexa-Enhanced—A Near-Perfect Home Upgrade!"
The Roku Smart Home Camera Doorbell has truly exceeded our expectations, delivering an impressive blend of quality, reliability, and convenience. Video and Audio Quality: The video quality is outstanding, both during the day and night. The clarity of the footage, even in low-light conditions, is exceptional, making it easy to identify faces, objects, and surroundings. We were also amazed by the doorbell's sound capabilities—it picks up audio clearly, ensuring no detail is missed during interactions or when reviewing recordings. Ease of Installation: Installing the doorbell was a breeze. We wired it directly to replace our existing house doorbell without any complications. The straightforward setup process makes it accessible even for those who might not be tech-savvy. Connection and Compatibility: Despite being located over 30 feet from our internet router, the doorbell has maintained a flawless connection. We've had zero issues with latency or disconnections. Moreover, integrating it with our Echo Dots was a highlight. Alexa announces when someone rings the doorbell, eliminating the need for additional doorbell receivers. This feature is a game-changer for multilevel homes, ensuring we never miss a visitor, regardless of where we are in the house. App Functionality: The Roku Smart Home app works seamlessly, allowing us to access live views and saved videos without delay or technical hiccups. The app's user-friendly interface enhances the overall experience, making monitoring and playback simple and intuitive. Weather Resistance: Living in a region where winter conditions can bring wind chills as low as -60°F, we were initially concerned about durability. However, the doorbell has proven to be exceptionally resilient, functioning perfectly even in these extreme conditions. Room for Improvement: If we could change anything about the doorbell, it would be to add the ability to move the camera lens to the sides or have the camera automatically track the movement of whatever triggered its motion detection. A feature like this, allowing the lens to follow motion in side-to-side motions, would make the device even more dynamic and enhance its ability to monitor areas comprehensively. Overall Impression: The Roku Smart Home Camera Doorbell is a standout product that combines top-notch video and audio quality with reliable connectivity and robust weather resistance. Its integration with Alexa adds a layer of convenience that enhances home security and accessibility. For anyone looking to upgrade their home with a smart doorbell, this is an excellent choice, with just a small improvement that could make it truly perfect.

Easy to install and works perfectly
Love the camera that I can also watch on my TV on Roku. I will buy more for around the House. Has good image and very accurate with the alerts and the ringtone.

Good camera for great price!
Super easy to hook up! Now I just have to find a mount to hold it. I live in apts and can’t screw it into my door frame or hardwire it so I love that it is apt friendly (wireless). Has a good picture. I have several Roku cameras (outside and inside) and I haven’t had any trouble out of any of them. They all work great. The color is a tad off in this one though. I was wearing a hot pink shirt during set up and it looked burnt orange on the playback. The lights are ALWAYS on outside at my apts so I can’t really speak to night vision on any of them.

Honest 4 stars.
This review is for people who have no idea what this product is capable of. Let me start with, I misunderstood what the chime was, at first I though the chime was just a blue tooth that required batteries to function, but it plugs into the wall, which is fine because I had a vacant plug anyways. The adjustibility in the settings is cool, being able to turn what type of motion you don't want notifications to off is cool sense I live in a high traffic area. With that being said, sometimes the camera still notifies me about vehicles as "motion". Picture is clear in it's standard view, once you zoom in though, it doesn't stay in HD, but I'm not complaining about that personally. Installation is so easy you could probably have your 10 year old do it with ease. Connectivity was with ease, in fact all I did was install the camera app on my TV, and the camera immediately started communicating with my TV, no syncing or anything required, log in and play. Packaging was good, no dings in the box, and everything inside of it was very well seated in place in cardboard slots. With all of that being said, are there better options out there? Yes. Is this worth the budget friendly value? As of now, yes. If your soul objective is to see outside your home from within, and don't wanna spend a wild amount of money to do so, then don't over look this option. If you're trying to have a full smart home, then you should consider the triple A security companies.

Very problematic !
If you still decide to buy it after reading this review it’s your problem. Works great until it stops letting you delete videos. It’s a common issue in the Roku Community Site. Wish I’d seen a review about it. Every submission to Roku support gets the same auto response. “Please send us a detailed issue including blah blah blah “ ! Acting as though they’ve never been contacted about it !They know it’s a problem but won’t or can’t fix it. Some people are saying it’s a way to get you to sign up for a prescription. Bunch of BS ! Apparently removing the app and reinstalling it doesn’t make it work either. Don’t buy this. It’s also a coincidence that I could delete them before my 30 day return period. Now I can’t and I’m sure it won’t store them indefinitely. It’ll be worthless at that point. FS

Great purchase
This is exactly what I needed. It can be wireless or hard wired. I currently have wireless. So far the charge is holding great, 10 days and at 90%. It is all about the set up, I don’t have it set to record every time something goes by my house. Once they are on my property; animal, people and cars it will record

Not sure
I’m not sure if it’s user error or not but I bought this for my front door and the doorbell is plugged in by the door and the router is also located by the door like it says to do and it connected for a day and then just disconnected and I can’t get it connected back. I’m going to try to fix it but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong
