I set up this headboard 7 months ago. It is holding up very well. Everything still looks brand new. We don’t use the LED lights in it because they are bright when sitting in bed, but the outlet with usb ports in the middle is a really nice touch. I would say it’s worth it. It wasn’t too hard to put together. Took some time but everything made sense and it had all of the pieces and extra.

I was able to build this by myself in just over four hours with frequent breaks. The instructions to build are straightforward and clear.Pros: very sturdy, affordable, looks decent, nightlights and plug are nice features, cubbies are deep.Cons: said nightlights and plug placement (why in the middle of the only shelf that can actually hold books?), the constant blue lights on the nightlight buttons are a bit too bright at night, other shelves aren’t tall enough to hold your books upright — you have to stack them laying down.Overall I’m still very happy with my purchase because it does provide storage space and it doesn’t look super cheap. I’m not worried about putting heavy items on top of it as I’m confident that it’s sturdy and it’ll hold up.

Not too difficult to assemble but some finesse is still required. One star removed because of the light it comes with, it's mounted in the bottom of the lower shelf so it blinds me when I'm not laying down already, and it's not dimmable. The light is annoying and I never use it.

The headboard is alright, but the back pieces are defective. The parts 8 and 9 are supposed to be joined one to another by some pins, the problem is that part 8 is the exact same as part 9, rather than being a mirrored version of it that matches the other half. Because of that, the middle part of the headboard is loose. Not stable because of defective part.Edit: they sent me a full replacement, all parts were good and the build is really sturdy. I’m really happy with the elegant design that it has and the good customer service I got

On the one hand, it looks great and is exactly what my brother wanted for his birthday. He loves the LED lights in it with the switches.The first one came broken. The return was quick and easy.But putting it together? Wowza! Definitely one of the most challenging pieces of furniture I’ve put together! A gazillion pieces and the instructions weren’t the greatest either. Me and my daughter did manage in the end.

Love this headboard! Not only is it sturdy but is so nice looking. It was really easy to put together. Absolute value for the money and all the hardware was there. Love that it came with hardware to attach to the wall, so it does not tip. King size was perfect for the new adjustable bed I just got. It was also cool it came with two lights on either side of the headboard.
