Q: How do you get in the door with that on there I want to put it on my actual front door

If you have a condo with just the front door as the only access point you would have to be home while it’s in use. People who have a garage or other exit doors can leave the front door bar on all the time.

Q: Do you offer hinges / bracket that are 2.5” depth? For door with thick trims

I think this will be perfect for thick trimmed door ways I had to add a 1" thick piece of wood between the bar and door so that there is zero give works flawlessly.

Our 38 inch bar fits a standard 36 inch wide door.

Q: Do you have to take the door off its hinges to install it?

You do not touch the hinges that are currently installed on your door jamb, This would go around the middle height of the door which in some configurations is just above the middle hinge.
