Gary Schocker - Flute Pieces with Piano Book/Online Media Paperback – February 1, 2010

I used Music Mine One many years ago & loved the concept. My sister recently had her flute reconditioned & this was the perfect gift to get her started back to playing. In this pandemic it was not possible for her to sit in with other players. Perfect solution.

My daughter plays the flute and I play the piano, so I was hoping we could play this music together. There are threeCD's included with this book that have AUDIO piano music on them for performance and practice, but there is no piano sheet music (PDF) on the discs or available for download. The book says you can purchase the printed piano accompaniment from Theodore Presser Company, but I'm having a hard time finding it to purchase. There is a nice range of levels in this book - some easier to master, some that will really challenge my daughter. She is in advanced band and has finished Essential Elements Level 3.

Gary is a flute player's composer. The CD comes with flute and piano and piano alone and gives you an idea on how he would like his music played. Gary has a beautiful singing tone. I bought Gary Schocker: Flute Pieces to add to my collection of flute players. Some compositions are quite difficult and it is more suited to flute players who have been playing for sometime and also advanced players can benefit. I was very delighted with my purchase and would recommend it.

Ditto ALL THE ABOVE. Agree on all counts.I bought this primarily for Regrets and Resolution which is also showcased by Masahide Kurita and Kauri Fuujii on YouTube.

Great book and nice to have the accompaniment CD!

Buyer beware. Yes, it has piano but on the CD only. For students requiring piano accompaniment for contests or recital, the piano sheet music is not including. The description in the title is misleading.

楽譜とカラオケCDは申し分ありません。集められている曲も有名なものばかりです。全部吹けるようになればばっちりです。腕も上がります。

フルートと伴奏CDだけあれば良い人向けです。ピアノの伴奏譜はありません。到着まで2週間日本国内だと必要。でも入手なかなか難しいものなので、高評価とします。

手に入りにくいものでしたが、海外から思ったより早く、きれいに送られてきて、満足しています。
