I received this one today, so this is first impressions. These are positive. The packaging was sturdy and high quality. It came with the monitor, a monitor sleeve that doubles as a stand, UK plug-in, two USB-C-USB-C cables and one HDMI-mini-HDMI cable. Also instruction manual. The quality of the cables is good, as is the monitor itself. I plugged it into my Macbook Pro (M4 Max chip, Tahoe 26.2) using the USB-C cable, and it lit up no problems, using only power from my Macbook’s USB-C port. On the side it has buttons for managing multiple functions, including brightness, clarity, contrast, sound, etc. The image quality is very good, brightness very good. On first try, YouTube video rendering was a bit halting (refresh rate 60Hz), but this is not my primary use for the monitor, and it could be fixable. I did not try, e.g., Netflix. The resolution is stunning: the highest 3840*2400 is even too much for me as the MacOS menus on top of the screen became very small to read in a 14.5” monitor. Overall, first impression is that this is great value for money at £148. Note that I cannot comment on durability or video rendering at this stage. This is a non-touch display due to MacOS inability to handle external touch displays.

I got this for my daughter for university, but she's decided not to go so she's given it back to me. I now use it as a second monitor when I'm working away. It makes my job very much easier (editing photos). It comes with all the most likely cables you'll need and if your laptop/tablet is suitable you can use a single USB-C cable to power and deliver video. The screen is crisp and clear and I especially like how the case forms a kickstand to hold the monitor at a good angle to view it. You can use it vertically if you were doing some serious word processing, say, although as far as I'm aware it doesn't autorotate - easy enough to change the setting in Windows though. It does work with Mac and Windows and anything else that can pump out an HDMI signal (via HDMI cable or USB-C) - for example your camera. I have used this as a giant field monitor a couple of times, but I don't have anything to hold it in place so I've had to use it on a desk with a really long HDMI cable. But for photography this could be very useful if you're ok with a long cable, or a shorter one and some kind of mount/holder. It's light enough that when I travel it's no big deal and the case is pretty strong so it's fine in my suitcase (I keep it inbetween my shirts for extra padding). Very nice monitor - very useful.

Very good work as it should

What an excellent bit of kit, been struggling with my 15” laptop screen for ages, bought this and wow it’s made work streams so much easier, screen is sharp enough and clear enough for rough photo edits but its main use is work and for that it’s perfect, shame it’s not Bluetooth connection but cables are fine and no issues with flickering, I use a MacBook Air and it’s just brilliant , will be coming on holiday with me as it has its own protective case for light travel protection. It’s not bigger than a 15” MacBook Air either and it’s light, can’t comment on sound as not used the sound on it

I used this on its first business trip this week. It performed faultlessly. It comes in Apple quality packaging, feels robust and includes 3 heavy duty connecting cables covering most combinations. I used USB-C to USB-C from my laptop, this powered the screen (a separate power pack is included if required) and delivered a very sharp display which was easily readable even when using low zoom to increase the amount of data visible on the screen without scrolling. The open screen sits securely on its cover, there are 2 grooves in the lid which provide 2 viewing angles, but it will happily sit beside these if neither suit the exact angle required. I am very impressed and, for the cost, wish I had invested on one of these for travel ages ago. As a bonus, I have a laptop which sustained a damaged screen which I had to remove. The best estimate for a replacement panel was 4x the cost of this one so it has brought that back into service as well.

Great screen at very nice price. Perfect for my raspberry pi 5 media center , low power consumption runs off the USB from the pi on eco mode , great for camping, boating ,RV van life

Been using the UPERFECT Upgrade 15.6” Portable Monitor and it’s basically the “second screen you actually end up using” (rare breed). Setup is stupid-easy: plug in USB-C and it just works. No driver nonsense, no menu-diving, no drama. The matte IPS panel is great for travel—cuts glare and still looks sharp for 1080p. Big win: power flexibility. I’ve powered it off a phone charger / battery pack with zero issues, which makes it genuinely portable instead of “portable if you’re glued to a wall socket.” Even better, it can run just by connecting it to an iPad single USBC cable(included), which is ridiculously convenient for working on the go. Extras like the smart cover, VESA support, and mini HDMI make it feel properly thought-through. Overall: easy, versatile, and travel-friendly—exactly what a portable monitor should be.

This portable monitor is absolutely stunning and performs as stated. Very responsive with it's 1ms response time. The screen is very lightweight easily placed in a bag or rucksack or just to carry. It has a very nice cover that covers the entire device. I highly recommend would buy again.

I purchased the 15.6 inch as a second screen for a laptop. Very easy to set up and use. Was able to adjust the brightness to my liking. Lovely leather cover for protection and stand. Still trying to figure out how to use it with my phone but that is not a necessity for me. Very reasonable price and ideal for what I need it for.

Already had two so bought another so got three for traveling, nice bright and work good, only thing is bough anotehr power brick as the ones supplied are weak and the screens flicker on and off under load, They use only 20W at load, i bought some 40w usb c phone chargers and never had a drop out since. Once downside is there is no case, so traveling keep the hard box they come in to protect the screen
