Q: Will this adhere well to wood?

This stuff sticks to anything better than any product I've ever used. It will stick to wood really well.

Contrary to the other answers, the Sikaflex manufacturer's website indicates that it is also a high strength adhesive: Sikaflex®-221 is a high-quality multi-purpose non-sag 1-c polyurethane sealant/adhesive. Sikaflex®-221 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for making permanent elastic seals of high adhesive strength. Suitable substrate materials are wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), ceramic materials and plastics.

Q: would this be great stuff to seal an aluminum enclosed trailer roof?

I am on a horse trailer forum and this was recommended by several people with 60+ years in trailer repair. They swear by it.
