This thing is AMAZING!!!We have a German Shepard/ TimberWolf and her coat is super thick!We've tried countless brushes and they've either gotten tangled, hurt her or Litterally just gave up and broke.We tried both sides and the wider side seems to be the one we use the most.We will follow up with the finer side if she stays still long enough (she's still a puppy)The first time we used it, the literal PILE OF HAIR looked like we could almost make another pup!!!I cannot recommend this enough.

This comb works very well at catching shedding winter undercoat on my Akita. I have had huskies and it should work well on them too. It takes out globs of fine fur—2 strokes and is full. For big dogs, I’d recommend the 4” size. The item is well made, handle attachment seems strong, and metal is good stainless.Tips of combs are blunted and not sharp so can’t scratch skin if you use a light touch. Go easy over bony areas-around ears, over scapulae on sides of neck, back of hips, tail and so on, as it can pull non-shedding hair, be a bit hard on the skin or pinch (I haven’t pinched but looks like might if rushed). So be carful, methodical and clean off every few strokes. My dog really likes it!

We have used many types of brushes with our boys. This brush is, by far, the most effective and powerful brush ever!!! No ripping or tearing of the fur and the boys love it!!! Cannot believe how quickly this removes the undercoat and top layer- it just doesn’t make sense!!! Buy this-it’s worth every cent!

Does a great job and easy to remove the hair/fur. Also has a comfortable weight to it. Delivery was quick. Would recommend.

Very impressed with this shedding brush. The build quality is solid—it feels durable and well-made, not like something that’ll fall apart after a few uses. It does an excellent job pulling out the undercoat on my Rottweiler, making grooming much easier and more effective. I expect it to hold up well over time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other large dog owners.
