Compatible with Sony DCR-TRV120 Camcorder
Battery was compatible with the internal charger on the Sony DCR-TRV120 Camcorder. It recognized the battery, provided estimated power, and charged the battery. I don't know about longevity. Only time will tell.

Purchased for a Sony Mavica MVC-FD71 Floppy disk camera. The battery works great, it charges on the stock charger. But the fit is super tight so the battery is hard to get out of the camera. I also have a MVC-FD7 and the fit is the same, super hard to get out. Otherwise great little battery!

Best non-OEM battery you can get for Sony Handycam CCD-TRV16
I picked this up few of these because they're off-market battery sold at reputable camera stores. They hold a charge great and are easy to charge with my camcorder. I can confidently recommend this product!

Does the Trick for my old Camcorder
I decided to pull out my old Sony Hi8 camcorder and thought it would be fun to see how well or poorly it can make videos. The battery I had was 23 years old, so it held a charge for about 5 seconds.I found this inexpensive replacement and it fit like a charm. I charged it up, and it said my camera had over 4 hours of power.
