Leg protector for your young softball or baseball player
Got this shin guard for my niece who plays softball to give her a little protection at the plate from stray balls, and it works well for that purpose. She has more confidence at the plate that she won't be get by an errant toss. Easy to adjust to an individual player. Recommended.

Item easily breaks
The clip for the strap breaks very easily. We cannot figure out how to get the item replaced. Item is non functional without being able to fix the clips for the straps. Broke third time my son used.

Decent Protection But Needs A Design Re-Work
My 13-year old grandson lives with me and plays travel ball. After getting hit in the leg too many times by errant pitches or foul balls, it was time to order some leg protection for him. The padding in this leg guard has done a decent job of protecting his leg but there are some issues with the design that make it difficult for him to keep it from sliding around on his leg. It is adjustable but doesn't stay tight on his leg. In addition, the strap that anchors the foot guard goes under the shoe. This makes the guard more awkward to put on and take off, especially when he gets on base and needs to take it off. On the plus side, the "armor" does its job and the color is vivid. If this design was re-worked to make it more secure and easier to put on and take off, this leg guard would have gotten a five-star rating from me.

Nice padding
Great quality , comfortable well padded. Release straps would be better if Velcro for faster release when on base.

Broken clip
Unfortunately the clip was broken when we bought this. Didn’t even have a chance to actually use it.
