Spent a long time looking for a hat I could wear in the pool. A sun hat with ponytail opening that I previously had would get floppy when wet and droop in my eyes. This hat has boning around the brim to keep it stable. The material is light. There is an adjustment in the back under the ponytail opening as well as a chin strap which is removable.

Love the hat. Material soft and feels comfortable. Does not wrinkle so can be packed easily for travel as the shape is retained. I have a very long head, not easy to find hats that fit, this one was a perfect fit as material is stretchy. Wide coverage to provide ample protection from the sun. Has an opening at the back for a ponytail. I can wear this at the beach, running errands and can be suitable for formal functions too

I am in love with this hat.Pros:- This hat looks ok on me! The bucket part of this bucket hat isn’t too deep or large, so it doesn’t have all sorts of odd edges and wings protruding when on my head.- The hat seems expensive, but other high quality Australian hats are similarly priced, and wrinkle free/age spot free skin is priceless- The white color will help reflect heat from the sun- The fabric is substantial and translucent/not entirely see through when held up to the light- The brim has a plastic ring in it to keep it in shape, so it doesn’t blocking your vision/sight- The headband has an elastic pull cord to make the hat fit more snugly- The brand/care and use label forms a loop so I can use my carabineer clip to hang the hat from my daypack when not in useCons:- I would have preferred a vertical ponytail slot, so my preferred location/height for wearing my pony doesn’t have to be modified to accommodate the hat- It is a bit sweaty to wear; could have used an absorbent band inside the hat- The white fabric will show/form sweat stains and dirt marks- Chin strap very difficult to removeOverall:I am very pleased with this hat and intend to wear this one for a very long time.Tips:- I carry a large safety pin that I use through the fabric of the hat and secure via the elastic of my pony tail to keeps hats on my head. For this hat, specifically, the pony needs to be lower than I normally wear mine, so after pulling my hair through, I found I needed to re-tie my hair anyway. In the process, my ponytail holder actually grabbed some of the hat fabric and the elastic adjuster and this hat is firmly affixed/secure.

This is a great hat for women. It is very lightweight but maintains its form rather than being floppy. The ponytail hole is a great feature as well as it not only keeps your hair in place but it keeps the hat from blowing off if you wear it boating or in strong winds. It is quite comfortable to wear and provides good sun protection. It is perfect for taking on vacation as it packs well and comes out looking great. It might cost a bit more but it’s well worth the price given the quality of the hat. I have a lot of hats but I love this one!

This is a mostly comfortable, well made hat. I appreciate the simplicity, as well as the thoughtful ponytail cutout in the back. It made wearing the hat much more comfortable, as I was working in the yard when I wore it and I prefer to have my hair pulled back for that. Most hats don’t really allow that comfortably. It felt a little snug on my head, though. Maybe I have an extra large head, though I haven’t felt like that before in hats. I’ll just say it’s not necessarily my most comfortable hat.I’m taking a star off because I think it is a little expensive for what you are getting. It’s possible this is a fancier brand and I’m just not familiar with it, which could result in a higher price.
