For those who own the Sear Kenmore (and like-branded) home humidifiers for the winter months, these replacement values are perfect. The Kenmore Home Humidifier (with the two portable/refillable water tanks) makes filling the humidifier so much easier than the days of buckets and sloshing through the house. However, the constant in-and-out of the water tanks does tend to break-down the plastic on these bottom values and Sears does not carry the replacement valves. These valves are crucial for good water flow. The product offered through Amazon is a perfect fit and is a bit stronger that the EOM. A great replacement!

I was happy that this valve cap fit my Kenmore Console Humidifier bottle. I was however greatly disappointed that only one cap showed up, rather than the 2 pack I ordered. However, when I let Amazon know the mistake, they credited me half of my purchase price. Now, I’ll wait to see when they go on sale before I order them again.

So glad to replace this cap and keep using the humidifier I like and keep it out of the landfill. Works great.

Cap also works fine on an older honeywell hcm525 humidifier....Follow up- Although the cap worked on the HCM525 it was a loose fit and after filling the reservoir about 10 times the cap became too loose to function and wrapping the threads with tape etc. didn't work.
