Solid but overpriced
There's nothing wrong with this controller, it's very nice. It's a bit simple compared to most RC radios you'll find, but the built quality is nice. The price though is HIGH! Super high. This is the most expensive radio I've ever seen that didn't come with metal gimbals and a full color touch screen. But it's DJI, so if you want to run FPV with an Avata or Neo, you need this. You don't have a choice in the matter. And it is a fine controller. No complains about the quality. My only issue, besides price, is that the battery bar is useless. It won't tell if it's changed or not. It just flashes all of the LED's. My advice is to leave it plugged into a USB charger for at least 2 or 3 hours, regardless of what those lights say. I have had it run out of juice even when all of those LED's flash, so they are meaningless. Just leave it on the charger, it'll be fine.

Pricey, but Totally Worth it
I really wish this controller came standard with the Avata 2, but even so, I don’t regret the purchase one bit. It fits comfortably in the hand, feels sturdy with excellent build quality, and the battery outlasts the drone itself even when using all three batteries that come with the bundle.Setup is quick and straightforward; I had it paired with my Avata in under two minutes. One downside: if you bought the Avata bundle with the DJI shoulder bag, this controller won’t fit inside so you’ll need to make space elsewhere. If you're happy using the Motion Controller and wondering if buying this controller is needed, you don’t need this. The motion stick feels great is easy to use and is very responsive. But if you're looking for more precision and plan to transition into full manual flight at some point, this controller is not only worth it but a must buy.

Worth the price, works well, no complaints
Zero complaints, it works perfectly fine and paired up no issues. The battery is great, too. A full charge outlasts my headset and all 3 batteries for the drone itself. The price point is decent, too. Definitely recommend for manual flight!

Fantastic experience, highly reccomend.
What can I say, everything I own made by DJI is top notch. I use this at least 4 times a week, I have it connected to my N3 goggles that control my Neo (Awesome experience) and 2 home made small quads. Long range, reliable, feels good!

Next level maneuvering!
Bought this after getting a lot of time on my motion controller with the Avata 2. This takes drone flight to a new level. If you are wanting to do more and have more controll during flight. This is exactly what you are looking for.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly Good After Giving It a Chance!
At first, the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 felt a little cheap compared to what I’m used to with gaming console controllers like the PS5 and Xbox — I honestly almost wrote it off. But after giving it a real try, I ended up liking the feel a lot. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and very responsive once you get used to it.I also really like that you can adjust the tension of the sticks, which makes a noticeable difference in how it flies. I do wish there was some kind of physical feedback, like a click or notch, when adjusting them — right now it’s all based on feel.I’m using it with the Avata 2 and a BetaFPV Meteor 75 with a DJI Air Unit, and it’s been working great for both. I know there are a lot of FPV remote options out there, but I decided to stick with DJI since I also enjoy flying some of their cinematic drones. If you’re already invested in the DJI ecosystem, this controller is definitely worth considering!
