Very unhappy with it. I've used it 3 days now and only 1 day did it actually blow out cold air and cool down my room. The other 2 was just semi cool air that made the temperature go down 2 degrees after running for 2 hours.

Editing my review to no longer recommend. We have 1 of these in a bedroom that’s worked great for months. Bought a second one for a different room, and it leaked after days. Same setup. Soaked my carpet - 4 dripping bath towels and still not dry. I had to bring the unit to the bathtub and dump it out - the water wasn’t coming from the drain hole, it was pouring out of seams and vents, just wherever it could.

I have this set up in a 160 Sq.Ft. room. It should be freezing and it is barely cool. we have not hit the dog days of summer yet here in NJ and this thing is barely cooling. It was easy to set up and cheap but it does not really work. This is my first one of these types of AC units. so i don't know if this is normal.

The ac was great the first day... Then it just stopped cooling and doesn't drain any water out now. It tries to start cooling, which you can hear, but clunkers out. Makes the clunking noise as well. Then it just blows hot air. 😩 I wouldn't waste your money on this one. Just saying.

The quality of the plastic used is very soft and brittle. The exhaust part did not fit in my window in a manner where it was stable. It did put out decently cold air for the few minutes that I ran it, other than that, it would be wiser to buy a higher quality ac. The shipping time was also very poor, it was marked as shipped, yet didn't move for 4 days, it took over a week and a half just to receive it. The loss of $63 for return shipping is also unacceptable.

The air conditioner is being sold as an 8500 BTU unit but when it arrives you’ll notice that it’s only 5000 BTU’S. It work well enough but it doesn’t do the job I expected considering the size of the room. I wish the seller would of been honest and I would of paid the price for the right unit.

The exhaust hose on this is terrible. It comes unassembled in it's basic components and it's up to you to put it together. I don't know why more people are not complaining about this as this was very difficult to put together. It made me feel like these components did not actually go together. They were supposed to just snap together but it took tools to force them to snap together. The hose itself did not fit into the mounts like they imply it does in the instructions. The system itself is ok, but that exhaust hose is absolutely horrible. The hose, after attempting to install it, still pops out of it's mount in the middle of the night. We had to use duct tape to keep everything together.

We ordered this on May 3rd, on sale for $94.34. The seller never delivered the item. I reached out to Amazon, and they reached out to the seller. The seller ignored Amazon. Amazon advised me to cancel the order and reorder it. However, the price was much higher at $231. Amazon assured us that they would cover the difference. It took the company about 40 days to deliver. The air conditioner is average; it struggles to cool down a small 200 sq ft room. The remote doesn't work. The exhaust hose is of poor quality.
