Great addition!
Very nice addition to Remington 700 bolts. I installed with expoxy for a solid and semi permanent fit and it works great. Easy to install and makes a huge difference over the small factory bolt knob. High quality with a very nice look and feel to it.

Fits perfectly
My rifle bolt comes close to my scope during cycling of the bolt. This knob is just large enough, not cumbersome, and helps me cycle the rifle bolt quickly

Worth it.
Great bolt knob. Was skeptical at first how it would fit and if it would be sturdy. It fit great and is rock solid! Great upgrade if you want a little bigger knob to work the action. Took a few times to fit it with the O rings, it comes with 2 large and 2 small O rings, I found the 2 large O rings worked great on my Remington 700 .270WIN. Cheaper than a knob that has to be drilled and tapped by a gun smith.

It works but could be better
For the cost and the application it fits decent and does as advertised. The reason for three stars is I installed on my Tactical AAC and fully tightened you can still twist the poly knob side to side. The reason for this is because it requires you to try to hold rubber O rings in between the two poly halves while you tighten it. So this is actually not designed to fit my model rifle but any rifle with a similar shape bolt knob. The result is a sloppy fit you tighten down to minimize play in the fitment. It works and is more comfortable than the factory knob but fitment could definitely be better. You get what you pay for and this is a decent budget upgrade. Not great, not awfull.

Simple and straightforward
It’s a simple game changer that makes your REM 700 bolt feel significantly higher quality and gives positive control on bolt manipulation. This attachment does not break the bank and is such a small thing that takes your rifle to the next level. I installed this in about 5 or 10 minutes. Having never done it before, I just had to find the sweet spot. If you struggle more than 15 minutes, get on YouTube and find a video, it’ll make more sense. Oh, one more thing, it’s very lightweight from the material used so it’s negligible when excessive oz’s are a concern

Easy to install and works great.
This fit my Remington 700 on a magpul stock perfectly. I watched some videos online and both said to use one small and one large washer, went on in less than 5 minutes. Took me longer to get the gun out of the safe and find the right Allen wrench. I cycled the bolt several times and it feels great.

Works for Savage Mkii with help...
I gave this a 5 star review because the product is built well and easy to work with, even though my use was not for the intended 700. After seeing another review that it worked for the Mkii, I gave it a shot. This is NOT a perfect fit but it is workable. I put a little vet wrap on the bolt knob in addition to 2 of the included o-rings, coated the interior edges with rubber cement, and some loctite on the screw. My final step was to add some JB Weld steel epoxy mix into the gap at the base to prevent the knob from rocking back and forth. It's solid now and works great. Now I may not have done it the best way but what I'm saying is this item gives you a great starting point to get a decent knob on your Mkii.

Solid fit after a little fiddling
My bolt handle knob is an oval shape, with a bit of checkering top and bottom, so this review applies to that shape. This is a hard plastic, but not a cheap plastic. The inset nut is solid. Two sets of rubber o-rings comes with it - that gives you three combinations of rings for the install (which keeps the assembly tight on the bolt). The hex-head bolt is also of good construction - not cheap metal, and the edges of the head are rounded. That's a big deal since the bolt head is going to stick out a tiny bit. I went online to check out the instructions to make sure I had all the details. The description of which is the "top" and "bottom" half is a little ambiguous, and they will go on in either direction. However, the channel for the rest of the bolt handle definitely fits better in one way than the other, so easy to see by holding a half against the bolt handle. I tried the smallest o-rings first, and the small problem was not the gaskets, but the alignment pins. The tolerance is so tight, it was hard to press the assembly together. I took the halves off and tried to mash them together without the bolt or o-rings. Still couldn't do it. So, I rotated them 90 degrees from each other, and tried the pins one at a time, so I could work them out a little bit to loosen the fit a little. Like I said, tight it good to make this attachment solid, but you could use three hands. Anyway, I pressed the halves together off the bolt handle, and of course they were tight to get apart. I did get my thumbnail in there (no metal screwdriver on plastic) and worked them apart. I used the small o-ring set, and mashed the whole thing together, and tightened the screw. The assembly was the tiniest bit wiggley. So, I worked the halves apart again, and used one small and one large o-ring to see what that would do. I got the whole thing mashed together again - without the screw, there was more of a gap between the halves, but the screw pulled it together nicely, and no wiggle between this handle and the bolt. It might be easier to hold the rings in place for install (round rings on an oval) with a little dab of some kind of grease that wouldn't attack the rubber, but I didn't think of it until later. The instructions say to not overtighten the screw - I always hate that. I have a screwdriver that I can set for inch-pounds for things like this - put a number to this along with the "overtighten" caution. The halves fit together very well. I figured there would be some kind of small mis-alignment between the halves that would rub against your hand, but not so. The fit is great, and the size of this is good. Not too big to interfere with the scope, and large enough to give a better purchase than the factory bolt handle. All in all, better product than I thought I would get.
