Just returned from a 10-day trip with this bag as my personal item, paired with a Maxlite international size spinner case. This is a great bag - lightweight, tough, holds a lot, and a light-colored interior so I can see my things. Good design with a large main space and two separate pockets in front. It has structure, stands up and looks solid, but the fabric is flexy and quite soft. Perfect size not just for a United personal item, but also for the beach, a weekend trip, or gym. A major plus for my bony shoulders is that the shoulder strap is VERY padded, making the bag comfortable to carry even when it's packed with heavy stuff. The drawback of packing it heavy is that it is wider than my Maxlite case, and with the bag attached to the handle the case will tend to do face plants. I was able to improve the balance by packing heavy items at the bottom of the case and the back of the bag. This is probably not a concern for people with hard shell cases.

This is my go-to personal item bag. Durable and fits everything I need in front of me. Easy access. The key clip is a great touch. I love this.

Purchased this bag as it is the exact dimensions (9x10x17) allowed by United Airlines as a “personal item” that can taken on the plane in addition to a carry on. It is the perfect design to allow maximum packing capability without unnecessary pockets and an unrestricted space on the interior to pack more items. The bag size itself is versatile in allowing it to be used for other purposes as well, such as a weekend bag. The zippers are metal and have an ergonomic curve for an easy grip, material is good quality that will not tear easily, yet lightweight to make travel less cumbersome. It was a bit more expensive than many options available, but it was worth the investment in not having incur a checked bag fee.

Great purchase. Bought to travel to Greece. Abused it like non of my other luggage. It took the abuse and still looks fabulous.
