This hall tree arrived today, it came in less than 24 hours since I ordered it which surprised me.At first I was hesitant in ordering this after seeing the reviews but I will say everything so far is great. It took me an hour maybe an hour and half to put it all together. All the pieces fit together perfectly and the directions were clear. My wife helped a little bit by holding a piece here and there but I mostly put it together all by myself.So far so good everything seems very sturdy with the product and it seems like a decent quality for the price.I have only 2 complaints about this product, the white is more of an off white/light beige-y color and would have preferred if it was more white. And it came with 2 anchors and on the hall tree there are two notches for the anchors to go, I put the anchor above the hall tree but the notches remain and look a little awkward.All in all so far so good, I would recommend

Great organization piece, easy and clear assembly instructions, good quality materials.

1) it’s not antique white. It’s kind of yellowish with splotches of black streaks. (See photo). When we first opened the box, we simultaneously said “This needs to be painted!” We primed it with a paint specifically for pressboard. (There are something like 28 pieces. Just priming them took hours. We stored them flat, with parchment paper in-between them until we had time to assemble them.2) boards are warped. This means they arrived warped. Just trying to align them is a nightmare.3) the upper back pieces are put together with 1/4” overlap. We were careful not to apply paint to those edges. We reinforced the center pieces with wood glue, using clamps and then metal plates. (See photo) we put the metal plates on the front and back of the pieces we actually got put together. The plates were necessary to get the pieces to line up properly. The meta plates, if you buy enough to reinforce the entire project, cost is about $50!4) when we tried to put the last piece of the extremely thin back together, the slots and pegs were impossible to align. We are not inexperienced in the process of putting flat packs together, but just 3pieces of the back took us about 4 hours. And we let each one dry overnight on a flat table.5) after wasting hours of our time and $240, this project ended up on the back porch, soon to be cut up and hauled away. (See photo) (we offered the assembled pieces and rest of the. kit to anyone, for free. No one wanted it.)7) do NOT buy this! Find a used piece of furniture or get something from a well-known box store that offers flat packs that don’t have 1/4” thick back boards.5) this piece of garbage was outrageously expensive. A lot of swear words were used. There are better options. Find them!

Super useful to have if you are like us and don’t have a coat closet in your home yet have a million shoes, jackets, and hats! We’ve had this for about 9 months and use it daily to house our keys, sunglasses, shoes, etc. It’s very sturdy and durable, was sort of a pain to put together and the color (we got rustic white) sadly doesn’t look great against our white walls. I would have returned it and swapped for the other color if it were easier to put together. But overall functionality is great!

We love this. Have had it for almost a year now and it still holds up. Very good value for the money, was easy to assembly and had good storage for a large family.

I almost returned it purely because the assembly was ridiculous. It took me and my spouse 5.5hrs to put it together; we are not beginners, you will need two people the product is extremely finicky.So the first part is the worst, the E/F do not line up, one of the planks was slightly shorter. We ended up ditching some of the wooden sticks and use packing tape until the other steps aided in securing it into place.The shelves also gave us issues. We followed the directions to the T and when we went to put the back on we were unable to secure it properly since the Q panels weren’t fitting correctly. We ended up flipping them around so they would fit which is why our shelves don’t look like the advertisement.If you move homes a lot I wouldn’t get this. It’s very heavy and not super sturdy. We ordered anchors for the wall.Also I got this one instead of another for the bench to sit and put on shoes but I sat on it and definitely won’t be using it for that.It’s so pretty I just don’t know if I would buy again.

The was a real bear to assemble. Need two people. Once all put together, it is surprisingly a very solid piece of furniture with plenty of storage options. Sturdy to sit on as well.

My husband assembled this in just a couple hours (with the “help” of our little kids, even)! We got this to help keep things organized for our 3 kids going back to school. We also purchased some storage cubes for their school bags, etc. I think it will help keep things organized This year.I do wish the stickers placed for assembly came off a bit easier. They were really helpful while assembling, as everything was clearly labeled, but not so cute on the finished product. Overall, though, we’re very happy with it. ☺️
