I sleep for about 7 to 8 hours a day, which is a long time to spend in one place, so when I saw this pillowcase I was intrigued. The concept sounded like a good idea and as it does not require anything from me, other than plugging the case in and laying my head on it, I thought why not give it a try.The poppers on the pillowcase are completely flat, and as a side sleeper, I'm glad I didn't notice any kind of discomfort from lying on them or the attachment at the end of the cable. The cable itself is very long; the plug has a UK adaptor that is not shown on the product photos, which the pillow plugs into, but this is so it can be grounded effectively and is not used for "powering" the pillow.The pillow's fabric is mostly cotton and washes well in a normal wash. In between the cotton, the pillow is lined with silver fibre, which has good conductivity and provides the grounding property of the pillow. The pillow is lovely and soft, and it is pleasant to lay your head on it.I have tried mine for two weeks now and feel that the quality of my sleep has improved. I have also noticed I have been having more vivid dreams, which I find very interesting.I like using this interesting pillow and would have no issues recommending it.

This pillowcase arrives in a zip lock bag, complete with connecting cable, UK adaptor and instructions.Before ordering this, I'd never heard of grounding and am still pretty much ignorant of the science behind it.Essentially this seems to be a cotton pillowcase which is threaded through with fine silver thread. Inside the pillowcase is a popper. This attachs to the connector wire, which is then plugged into the earth section of your plug socket. This seems to have been manufactured primarily for the European market so includes a UK adaptor (which makes plugging it into the earth foolproof).Although you are connecting to the socket there is no electricity involved, so you get no unusual sensations from this pillowcase. It's just like sleeping on any other, aside from the cable hanging out of the end. I'm a side sleeper and the cable doesn't interfere with my sleeping position at all. The cable provided is of a generous length, so it shouldn't be an issue having a socket close enough to your bed.So does it work? I was pretty sceptical but I do seem to have been getting better sleep over the last few days, since starting to use this, and my frequent morning headaches just haven't been there.Given the early signs, I have to conclude that it is making a difference though whether is down to the grounding or a placebo type effect I couldn't say.If you have sleep issues though this could well be worth a go.
