Casio Illuminator Alarm Chronograph Digital Watch

I wear this watch all the time. I wanted something with a big display but not massive and this watch is stylish and practical. I guess it's meant to be for men but looks good on my thin wrist.

The watch is perfect it is as described and lovely addition to any look

Slightly larger than my other Casios, very sturdy long strap and the only dark green model with the same coloured strap I could find (other straps are black), great backlight that actually illuminates effectively unlike the other models. Great value classic.

Really great comfortable and durable watch. Been using this for months outside and it has lasted a really long time without any issues! Fits me really well, and I love the colour! Casio watches are always great value for money and this is no different!!

Great budget Casio large readable display

The Casio W-217, this is apparently the watch that was going to replace, the ever famous F-91, but in the end Casio kept the F-91 in production. This watch therefore has a lot to live up to, and high expectations!! I decided to order the beige version, just to scratch that boy-ish tactical 'itch,' but there are countless other colour variants. The beige (and green) variants have, a special back-light, where, when activating, it changes the positive display to negative, with an orange light aluminating the digits. It's nice to look at, and is something of a party trick, but in low light scenarios (so not full darkness), i find it doesn't work so well. The strap is lovely, soft, and supple, but in my opinion, far too long. It could of course be cut, but i find, no matter how hard you try, doing so, always cheapens the look of the watch. For comparison the watch is about the same size as my G-Shock 5610u, but the strap is far longer on this. So i probably wouldn't recommend it if your wrist size was any less than 7 inches. One good thing that i like, is that the 12/24hr & back light pushes have been switched around. Wearing a F-91 or W-59, I'd always be constantly annoyed, by switching to 12hr time, when the watch squishes against my wrist. This watch now prevents that. Harmlessly activating the back-light instead. But to me, the most annoying thing, is that this watch loses time, not greatly, perhaps around 1/3sec per day. In my opinion, and with all my other Casios, they gain time (which is the better of the two options, better to be early, than late!!) I wonder if this is the same for all other W-217s?

Excellent, simple watch. Lightweight, fairly thin, and barely noticeable on the wrist. Pairs well with a nylon stretch band for maximum comfort. (Watch lug size is18mm)

Muy buen producto

This is the best Casio Watch today. Not too big like a G-Shock, not too small like the classics. Readable time. Backlight improved. Light button on lower right as it should be. Easy to set time. Durable enough. Has all the features I want and no monitoring like a smart watch. Color options are a plus and not too flashy. Price is great.
