Good tarp
Bought the large size to act as rain fly for our Coleman instant dome 3 tent. Bought guylines and poles seperately. In practice found a slightly larger tarp would have been better for our tent but not the fault of the tarp and it did provide cover. It can be pitched on the diagonal which gives some extra length. There has been some small tearing around the grommets but this was after some VERY heavy and gusty winds in the highlands of Scotland and we were suprised our tent survived never mind the tarp. If I had tied more carefully and used bungees this would probably not have happened. Although lightweight and fairly thin the tarp is strong and performed really well in some heavy downpours. Good waterproofing. The tarp also packs down nicely into a small lightweight package. Overall a nice tarp at a good price.

The product works brilliantly for this and has already given us somewhere to ...
Had forgotten to write a review but the seller was so exceptionally polite in asking if I could I came straight here. It arrived promptly and we have mainly used it as a form of lean-to shelter strung between 2 tents while hiking and wild camping. The product works brilliantly for this and has already given us somewhere to cook and keep kit in some very harsh conditions, staying waterproof through very heavy rain and intact during very strong winds. It packages small and light enough to throw in a bergan and after using it another member of our party of 4 is buying one to create a simliar shelter between the other 2 tents in harsh conditions.Such a simple piece of kit but well made and versatile. Always making sure to take one with me from now on.Thanks!

Super light and waterproof
I bought this to use as a cover for a trailer which has to be left outside. The material is completely waterproof and in texture is similar to the feel you might find on a sleeping bag. It is so light I struggled to control it in a mild breeze and it slips off things if you are not careful. There are 6 eyelets round the edge which look strong enough not to rip. I have used nylon rope to gather the edge round my trailer and it is very snug and completely dry. Very pleased.Update as of Aug 2020: Two issues have come up since my review. The eyelets are now rusting - what I thought were brass must be plated steel and the cover has faded quite badly in the light. Still waterproof though, 3 years later and the trailer is still looking good thanks to the cover.

Great tarp, especially for the price
Absolutely great tarp, especially for the price. I purchased the large one to use as a small porch area in front of my two man tent so we could cook and sit outside in the rain and it worked great. Not sure how well it would work as a hammock cover or a stand alone tent tarp but it could definitely be used as a groundsheet. The only one thing that I would like is to have 2 more eyelets on the shorter length to make setting up different configurations easier but other than that it is a perfect tarp and packs away nice and small and comes with its own pegs. Would definitely recommend this tarp to anyone looking to make more sheltered area for cooking or a ground sheet to sit on, might try it out with a hammock when I eventually buy one but have not tried that yet.

Good and sturdy
This is a good piece, water seems to just run off it, it packs down to nothing and the eyelets seemSturdy. It could be used to bivvi, the only problem is there are no eyelets in the middle edges, only on the corner edges - you can peg it down on its corners but you can’t easily have it hanging from a tree over your hammock and get that Tented angle - you’d have to make your own eyelets here...I went for the larger size as there’s more to play with and with some jiggery would give you a better “tent” angle to lie under

Great
Bought as a sacrificial ground sheet for my fishing bivvy, rather than use the expensive one I have, serves its purpose well

Good cheap tarp to have as a secondary on hikes and treks.
I am very happy with this tarp. I have used it now 3 times outdoors, once to sit on in wet mud, once as a shelter on a wooden frame when it started to rain, and once and a windbreak for a fire. It stood up to all three occasions really well, with no rips or tears and now a nice added smokey smell ;). It is not quite as thick and durable as I had thought from looking at the pictures, but after testing it outdoors I am happy with how it held.Obviously its no DD tarp but its a quarter of the price. I would not take it as my main shelter tarp but its nice to have a cheap secondary on hand for those quick and dirty tasks. If it breaks I will probably buy another.

Great light weight, inexpensive tarp
For its purposes as a lightweight ground cloth, small personal tarp, covering a pack during a storm for a couple hours or as a door for a snow shelter, this is just about ideal. The material is thin to help with the weight but is still water resistant but not 100% waterproof. I have had this brand for a few years and go camping 15-20 times a year including backcountry for a week or two at a time and have not had an issue but I understand the limitations and take good care of my gear. I knocked the durability slightly because the material can rip on branches if you are careless and would be cautious using as my only tarp on a trip.

Good tarp for lighter duty applications.
I've used it once since purchasing. I'm only using it as a ground covering to sleep on. It seems durable enough as pine needles and other common ground debris such as sticks and sharp grass will not penetrate the fabric. Dampness from the ground does not penetrate. Could be a bit lighter. I replaced the steel stakes with some lighter weight aluminum stakes from an old tent which helped a little. So far I am happy and would recommend this tarp for lighter duty applications. Don't use this tarp to sleep on cactus!

Very nice tarp with many uses
I got this tarp with the intention of using it for family picnics. I got the small size, 4.9' X 7.2'. It is a perfect size for laying on the ground or at the beach. There is plenty of room for all of us to fit on the tarp along with our belongings. The tarp, although light weight, seems very sturdy and waterproof. The grommets at the corners are double thick, making them very sturdy. After using it outdoors, it became apparent this would serve us inside also. We now use it as a floor covering when the little kids come over to paint, use playdoh and generally make a mess. This tarp cleans very easily and stores quite nicely in its enclosed pouch.Totally happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend it to anyone needing a good all around covering.
